    Great review. I love the F-pace definitely on the top of my list for my next vehicle along with the Volvo XC90

    This and the Maserati SUV look so good.

      My problem with the maserati is the side and rear aren't any where as good as this Jag. Front view superb and can take on this jag easily, then the maserati has a very infinity like or nissan like interior very drab and ugly for a top range luxury vehicle.

      I agree. I also like the Bentley Bentayga that everyone seems to hate for some reason.

      SouthParkFan It looks like it was styled by Stevie Wonder. Actually, that's an insult to blind people. The Bentayga is one of the most garish, ostentatious, bling covered piles of turd I have ever seen. It is actually proof that money doesn't buy you taste. I cannot think of a worse looking car.

    Great looking SUV, wonder what long term reliability will be?

    Thank you for a traditional video! Love these videos, not a fan of those ones that came out looking like infomercials with lots of stock footage and stats in the voice over.

      I don't think people appreciate the limited time I have to produce these videos. For example, when I fly to Europe overnight with about 2 hours sleep, then driving the car for several hours and also trying to shoot and do my other video elements, there is not much time. These travel reviews are more of a first drive, not a full review. Getting a car to drive, even for a couple of hours, six months or a year before the car is out is worth. These travel reviews will never be the same as me having the car for a week or two weeks, the time limitations are just too tight.

      Zack, I do understand this and I apologize for seeming critical. This is by far my favorite car review channel. Mostly, just wanted to highlight which content, in my limited perspective, provides the most value. These types of videos where you highlight changes and go over the pros and cons of the interior are extremely helpful. Obviously, the additional insight provided by the videos where you have the vehicle for an extended period are the most valuable. I think my main point of feedback would be that I didn't find much value in the "preview" videos and felt they just added filler content to my feed. I liked to search your video archives in doing research on a vehicle and those videos somewhat muddy the results.

      All that said, I notice every little scratch on a Rolls but will throw a metal rake on top of a old Taurus. The dip in content quality was only noticeable in contrast to the great quality content around it. Keep up the good work.

      +Jason Whiting the preview videos were done for a project outside of RUclips that fell through. So after I had done all the work and the videos were sitting there I decided to put them on RUclips, they are not reviews rather just previews of what the vehicle has to offer

    • @NiTeHaWKnz
      @NiTeHaWKnz 6 лет назад

      What tends to happen is the channels that Jason Whiting is referring to rip manufacturer clips, stitch them together and use a damn synth voice for a voice over. I've started reporting such clips.

    Zack... Awesome video as always. Short and crisp. Really appreciate all of your efforts. I just have one question. If you have to buy one between Mercedes GLC300 and f pace ... Which one will you go for ? GLC got fantastic interior and f pace exterior is simply superb. I'm still confused to buy one between two. Since you drove both cars , I would like to take your view on this.

    Just curious what you thought of the rear window?
    I suspect/hope that Land Rover will being the 2.0 Diesel to its lineup this fall as I think I prefer a diesel Discovery Sport or Evoque but just might take a closer look at the F-Pace if they don't.

    Why don't you give us maximum leg room for front and rear .... on all your videos ....like Consumer reports does. We can not tell if you are 5'-7" or 6'-4' ... I found the F-type short on front leg room at 6'-4" body.....

    How come there is only a 4 thousand dollar different between the 2.0 litre diesel and the 3.0 litre V6 in Canada but yet in the UK it is an extra 12 thousand pounds to go up to the 3.0 litre V6? Are we being ripped off in the UK?? someone give me an answer please!!!!!!!!

    • @Spac8
      @Spac8 7 лет назад +1

      russellhkuk Yes. We are. Taxation difference and all that. I remember in 2007, I worked out it would be cheaper to fly to America, buy an XKR, ship it back to the UK and convert it to Right Hand Drive than it was to just buy an XKR over here in the UK. We're taxed like hell.

    ..your criticism of the position of the volume knob is unfounded, just knit-picking.. for right-hand-drives, the knob is on passenger side as well (just like all other vehicles, i've yet to find volume knob on the right side of the centre console in the right-hand-drive vehicles we have in south africa.. when a vehicle is just well-sorted and you dont have anything negative to say about it, then.....just dont say anything negative about it... :-)

    • @NeutralGenericUser
      @NeutralGenericUser 8 лет назад +2

      What? It's a very valid criticism, and I completely agree with him. I've noticed some Audis have it on the passenger side as well, and it's very frustrating.

      Herc Zeus It may be owned by TaTa, but it is still designed, developed, tested and built in the UK by British engineers. :) Well, they're probably assembled in the US for your market. :)

    this car is let down by too much black inside, central consol too big, poor choice of interiors and outside paints...why can't I have red leather on my basic model ?

  • @Spac8
    @Spac8 7 лет назад +2

    The handling is a little better than "above average". It's easily best in class and makes a Macan feel crap. Plus, the Macan has such bad dynamics it "hops" when you get it too the limit, which is just dangerous. Look for videos and you will see what I mean. It's also bland as hell.

    318 pound feet of torque!! What happened to foot pounds?? Imagine a lever 318 ft long with 1 pound suspended on the end. Nuts.
    Accepted torque is a lever one foot long with 318 pounds suspended on the end.
