Thanks for sharing as I just now have brown jelly on frogspawn coral 0.5 a day and 1/3 is gone. Did not know what was it until I found your film. Have done 1/10 dip and now it is a waiting time. So sad a our tank is new as 3 months old. 😢

A new acan I got apparently got it, or something similar just yesterday. My other corals seem fine, but the Acan is looking like he is about to kick the bucket. As long as my other corals are fine, that's what matters.

I think I'm dealing with this now. Just noticed a brown reddish like jelly on one of my euphyllia. Initially I thought it was just algae. This was until I noticed the tentacles were basically sloughing off. I tossed the coral away. I noticed the ones in its vicinity were not doing as well either. Hopefully they were just irritated and not infected.

I'm newbie in this hobby.. i have same problem. i watched your video.
I ..cut off the infected head, dip the torch, and cover glue on wounded cut-off head.. clean them up, and place at back in tank.. And thanks God it wasnt spread off, already been 1 week ago..

Just to clarify, are you doing a 1:10 dilution with 3% hydrogen peroxide?

So you did throw everything out that was infected? I typed out a reply that you should just get rid of anything infected but watched the whole video and you mentioned next time you'd throw them out. Even healthy heads at the very least I'd qt them for a few days or longer to see if they melt. Years ago when Australia first opened up export I lost a ton of very expensive micromussa. I just kept cutting back and cutting back but they kept melting. Brown jelly is worse than rtn I wouldn't bother dipping unless whatever I dipped was going into its own system where it's death couldn't hurt anything else.
