Sir can you share tutorial for a lap joint simulation with threaded bolts using ABAQUS.
I am an assistant professor and need to show this to my students in the course of Design of Steel Structures with your reference and credit.
Hope it will help you to increase your family also.
I have created one ABAQUS model for the same but as i am a beginner there are some. errors.

Does this work if instead of extrusion I put revolution? It's because I need to do a dental implant and I really wanted to include the thread, but I'm not sure if I do it this way if later I could add stresses or not. Thanks for the video

How to draw threads on a tapered surface, finding difficulty in doing so. Please help

This can be done through python codding or Abaqus command and this is time consuming task. Rather, I recommend you to draw using another software like SolidWORKS, Catia, etc. and import in Abaqus. In SolidWORK, this task is super easy!!! I already done a tutorial on how to import from SolidWORK to Abaqus.
