When they are creating it takes FOR and EVER,
I made the mistake of being in the studio with some artists creating a song and they played that same 30 seconds of a track like 100 million times. LOL They do it for us. Hard work with amazing results

My vocal teacher puts us down whenever we don't sing high enough and is very bad she doesn't give anybody a chance at solos she picks the same people over and over again and tells us do as good as this person you'll get it. She is always putting a stand after performance and I don't enjoy singing because of my teacher.
Always been a powerhouse singer since a young girl. My daughter has now became a huge fan and now can't wait to one day here you sing live. Love ya' Cheryl!

Spot on. I see these 'Vocal coach reacts vids' and think: Er, but you can't sing very well yourself. I appreciate that not all boxing trainers or football coaches were top fighters/ players, but I think you want your singing teacher to have some chops, not just have read a few books on the subject. This coach sounds amazing.
Debatable. She’s great but the whole falsetto vs head vs mixed vs chest debate is rabid and she may be wrong on that. The muscle for a falsetto doesn’t exist in the female anatomy but they may also be wrong and the muscle for chest doesn’t exist and girls just stay in there head when they talk.
@@m..w6877 not to be rude or anything but you should research a bit on Mrs. Cheryl Porter because she is i professional singer herself , she is an Opera singer so she does know what she's doing. Mrs Porter quite her own singing so she can teach young people in other countries how to sing after she found out that many younger people liked American music but couldn't sing it due to the language barrier and them being so far away from the united states.

Your voice can still be a pretty voice. Don't give up, the girl singing in this video has practice as has studied. You can learn how to sing, just like every other art.

I love how she’s teaching her how to sing properly. So often i hear extremely nasal tones. Arianna Grande wasn’t always so and now she is. But this coach isn’t singing from her head and neither is her student. Both from the diaphragm and they sound great.

Cheryl, I have no idea how you're able to play around with those crazy notes with such ease. You're not at all striving for the notes...you're sat so far on top of them that you dance with them like they're nothing. @@Eevakz I think is about helping with breath support, when you do that movement like you are punching you can feel some parts of your abdomen engaging, that helps keeping tension away from the throat wich is what you need to get rid of when you sing. And of course the visual of the "power" helps too.

Of course! Anyone can learn how to sing, provided you have a healthy voice. It might take time, but so much of singing is techniques and essentially the training of certain muscles, it's just a different type of workout.
@@fardareismai4495 I had a similar comment like hers on a different video and someone commented back some people can't sing and that there tone-deaf 😓 But I've always wanted to be someone who could wow an audience with my voice but sadly I can't sing, and I really want to learn how to so I either can't sing to save my life or I just haven't found my voice yet or I never ever will 😓 and I was in choir in 4th grade but was put in the back and never got the option to sing solo if I wanted to. @@stormy7028 Please don't give up though, if you are passionate about something, don't let anyone ever tell you that you aren't good enough. It is a weird idea that, especially with artistic hobbies like singing, you're not "allowed" to practice it for fun, that there is such a demand for perfection. I am not a great singer either. I can carry a tune and I hold up well in a choir, but I am by no means an experienced singer and I wouldn't feel comfortable performing on my own. Still, I love it and it brings me so much joy just to sing in the quiet of my own home or for some people. And singing together with others is even better, I love that so much. It sounds like you are dedicated, kindle that passion, who knows what will come from it?
