Well they already did have another chance in 2012 & blew it. Went undefeated until choking to Baylor in 2nd to last game of the season. Would've gone on to play the undefeated Manti Te'o Notre Dame team in the national championship. Instead 1-loss Bama took their place. And their 1 loss was to Money Manziel, who ended up winning the heisman - should've been Collin Klein. K-State has now missed out on 2 national championships & 2 heisman trophys...shame.
