Thanks, I feel strongly that Mick Mars deserves so much credit and respect. In a decade full of awesome guitarists, he was a total original, in style and tone. Not only that he takes the stage and delivers with no complaints, considering his health. I put him up there with the greats. Great job brother. Mick forever.
I agree he didn't do the super lead stuff and that hurts his status now however it does not mean that could jam cos yes he could and can. I am happy he is still with us.
@@jeffhodge7272 if I was a millionaire I would have too many guitars, amps maybe a recording studio but definitely hotrods. My guitar collection would bet then all sigh. A man can dream cant he hahaha.
Mick simply does not get the credit he deserves for some truly monster riffs. Bittersuite is one of my most favourite ever compositions from Mick, a masterpiece! Nice cover pal!!!!
@@DBoyyxD True, he is the bass player lol, but you'd be surprised at how many bass player AND Drummers can play guitar very well too, Dave Grohl for example. But much to my surprise I did learn some time ago that Nikki wrote a very many of their riffs, I'm pretty sure he talks about it a bit on his show "My Favorite Riff W/Slash" (it's on RUclips). Kickstart My Heart is one that surprised me the most.. When you're the primary song writer guitar skills very much come in handy, as they did for Nikki Sixx....
People who voted thumbs down are jealous. All this guy’s videos are spot-on. Thanks for posting. If I managed a big name 80s band I’d try to hire this guy. Those galloping downward strokes are fantastic.
So simple, yet so complicated! This is a fantastic cover, really fun to watch! Unfortunately Mick suffers from the same fate as Ace Frehley did, he's in a band with two mega egomaniacs and never gets the respect or camera time he deserves. Such an underrated brilliantly original player!!
This guy is the best at replicating heavy metal guitar lines, better than anyone I have ever heard. Right down to the sound of the amp, it is exactly like the album.
THIS, is how you teach guitar to non beginners. Just play and STFU...no talking...plenty of beginner videos out there for them. Thank You for making this.
@@Frip36 no you dumbfvck. .re-read my simple comment. Non-beginners, don't need all the chit chat that noobies do. Satsuma, rarely talks. I'm not telling Satsuma to STFU, because he ALREADY, doesn't talk.. 23 other people understood my comment..
Agree. The videos that explain every note strike are insufferable. I would argue this video is fine for beginners too. In my day we learned off albums and tapes no video no tabs.
I've been watching your videos since I don't remember, I used to send them to My Uncle so he could see you and feel the same sound that you perform, no one cares about the things that I share anymore, it really seems like people change a lot and we are just a particular minority who enjoys this. Satsuma you truly give japanese guitarist an elevated hierarchy so well deserved. I am an old metal bass player from the 90's and you and your playing being back memories. Thank you 💕. I wish I had more to offer.
Just One Of THE best heavy Metal riff... Just... Perfect. Mick Mars is just an "metronomic" line writer... Thanks, God... Satsuma is just... so magic & so real!

I love Mick Mars as a guitarist! Way underrated. Motley crues music is so much fun to play. So much energy
Gets a bad rep because he played in a glam metal band and doesn't do guitar hero stuff. But his riffs are very good and enduring.
Agree 100% Definitely under rated. Being a four piece band he made one guitar sound like many. Heavy as fuck.
@@oldskoolmusicnostalgia he had some killer solos and wrote some bad ass riffs. IMO that makes him a guitar hero.
I agree he didn't do the super lead stuff and that hurts his status now however it does not mean that could jam cos yes he could and can. I am happy he is still with us.
Man, you really got Mick's tone, it sounds amazing! Great cover!
Nice RH technique. No extra string noise. Nice slides into main riff. Great lead!!!
This guy's youtube covers are phenomenal. Love how many different guitars he uses also.
he is fuckin' good.....
That PS series Washburn is fucking tough looking. And sounds great.
That Washburn in this video is very nice.
Wish I could afford one nice guitar like he plays. Let alone a half a dozen of them! 😪🤟

The look of that guitar is so 80's
Paul Stanley signature model ...
I remeber standing in line in the 80 s to buy this album. My mom looked at it and called a priest. The best
I hope, Judas Priest ;) ?
Yup 🎩😆🎸
It’s pretty cool hearing these classics with the guitar work front and center
My absolute favorite Crue song. Very well played and awesome tone! And I agree with other commenters that Mick Mars is highly underrated.
This is probably the best Mötley Crüe cover I've ever seen. Great job man🤘
mick mars riffs are awesome
great motley cover and amzing playing as always
keep rocking

It sounds simple but what makes it hard is the super fast downpicking, and doing it for most of the song

Great cover. Props to Mick for such a great riff.
One of my all time favorite Crue songs. Best harmonies in all of hair metal..!!
Such an underated guitarist Mick is.
I love that we actually hear him play!
Mick mars, the most underrated guitar player of all time. Mick can play with the best, and is the best
The sound of the 80’s
Great cover. Mick is the king of riffs. Thanks for sharing.
I do love myself some solid Mick Mars riffs
Great timing and rythm..sounds like a real musician.
you are killing it!!!!
*Great job, thanks! Also, nice to see the Paul Stanley model being demoed.*
Your hammering off the power chords at 00:46 - 00:49 is sick bro. Im not sure if Mick does that, but it doesnt really matter. Fantastic cover.

That was pure perfection. There was absolutely nothing that was wrong.
Well played Good Sir. Well played indeed. I was impressed and I always loved the early Motley Crew.
Pinapanood ko ito para matuto ng gitara. Ang aking mga paboritong riff.
The way this guitarist adds the extra touches almost a Metallica style at times is amazing.
It's really amazing how these guys on RUclips can make a different guitar sound like a Strat. Great work dude. Kicked ass!
beauty in simplicity..probably my favorite motley crue riff of all time...Mick Mars has to be one of the most under rated guitarist ever

The first three minutes of this video has taught me more about strum technique than ANY of the talkies.... he doesn't hide the technique of any of it.
Yeahhh! Great control over the strings and fretboard and my man.

Mick Mars is the riff master. Very good guitar player.
Awesome. This riff is not easy at all to play and especially play and sing the chorus 😅
Awesome cover! I love your Paul Stanley Washburn!

A riff master who brilliantly worked his leads to fit and never overplay the song.
