I met Keith Wilder on a flight to Phoenix in the early 2000s. He appreciated the fact that when he mentioned he was with Heatwave, I knew he had to be Keith Wilder. He gave me a couple of passes to his show that evening. I would check on him from time to time over the years. He passed the same year I moved back to Atlanta in 2017. Good dude.
Is there any original members on this stage I wonder? The original heatwave deserved many Grammy Awards for their incredible work mostly led by the unbelievable Rod Temperton Jr.

Ernest "Bilbo" Berger was the last member, and of course everyone forgets him because he was the drummer. He passed in March 2024.
