The manual does not tell you how to set up the machine. No Worries, It was easy to figure out.
The first thing I do is secure the machine. So... Find the brackets. Once you have secured the machine it's time to attach the tension mast.
Once the mast is secure you can thread the mast.
I also thought it was important to show you what is in the tool box and to mention the cast on combs. I also think it's important to mention the settings on the carriage (and label them.)
Now we can take a deep breath and get started on the basics of knitting.
