- The PA school personal statement in CASPA is very important. A good personal statement can set you apart from your competition. A bad personal statement can make the admissions staff believe that you're a bad communicator.
I have been helping pre-PA students write excellent personal statements for four years now. In this video, I go through two REAL examples from REAL PA school applicants. I show you what they wrote, the comments I made, and the new and improved sentence or paragraph.

@@BorisThePA im mostly concerned about the how hard it is to get into entry level jobs and the pay for PAs decreasing and many lay offs due to covid as I've heard, so if you could touch on that

How do we know what the school wants for the personal statement?
just tell them about yourself and why you want to be a PA. Gotcha, Thanks! I have 3 years before I apply but time is definitely flying and it will be here in no time. I am currently in a Cardiovascular Technology program with a graduation date of May 2024. While doing that I am taking an extra class each semester to help me be on track to earn a bachelor’s degree by May 2026 and apply to PA school that year when I have my official transcript stamped with my undergraduate degree. Until then I will be working on all my requirements for the PA program. With the time line I should have approximately 2 years worth of experience working in the Cath Lab and EP Lab. So I believe I am the right path for success. Thanks for your help and I just subscribed!
