- DC and state of Maryland. Riding along WMATA Red Line.
With following stops
1:57 - Washington Union Station
13:20 - Silver Spring
18:34 - Kensington
24:14 - Rockville
Another great video from our Russian friend!
The Brunswick Line is the western version of the Camden line - no caternaries here. I'm used to taking the subway to Rockville - or Montgomery Ride-On from Friendship Heights.
I heard the Early MARC train doesn’t go to West Virginia! It stops at Brunswick and gets a shuttle to there
Speeds shown on the GPS device are in Kilometers per Hour - not MPH.

I rode this from union to rockville
I had the same conductor last week
I don't understand why they are only going 60mph. Even without PTC that track should have a 80mph maximum.
CSX
He does hit 76 mph between Garret Park and Rockville where 79 territory begins. The straight and gently curving sections between Brookland and Silver Spring should be 70 in my opinion. The Red Line lies between the two CSX tracks there which may be the reason it’s 60.
Is my hearing bad? I didn't hear the horn blow for the crossing at Forest Glen Road. Not some stupid quiet zone that gets people KILLED?
122 mph with level street crossings? I didn't realize such things existed.
It’s kilometers.

@@3506Dodge he isn’t from America.
It's 122kph, so roughly 75mph, but the FRA actually does hypothetically allow 125mph grade crossing, however nobody has used them yet.
Do you have to pay if so how much
