Lloyd is the cowboy helping Kasey and Rip corner the guy in the street. He's been at the Yellowstone a long time. He's basically the 2nd hand behind Rip. You'll see a lot of him throughout the seasons, he's one of my favorites on the show. A lot of the bunkhouse will get more screen time down the road.
That cowboy's name is Forrie Smith. He is a real cowboy. He was born and raised in Montana and rode bareback in rodeos for a while. Started out as a stunt man and moved into acting

I think you guys are missing the point about Kaycee beating the guy at the gas station. No, he didn't need to. He WANTED to. There is a darkness is Kaycee, one that is constantly struggling with the light side of him. All of those emotions he has been bottling up this entire time -- his father, his son, his wife, her accident, etc. -- all of that was finally given an outlet. He told that guy to go away, leave him be, and that guy responded by pulling a weapon and putting it to his throat. So Kaycee unleashed the dark side of himself on that guy.
Exactly. One gets pushed one too many times and that wall suddenly becomes a door you wished had stayed a wall, and that demon that's in us all gets free rein

What’s funny is I’ve been in Japan for the past couple of weeks and even while traveling, have been anxiously waiting for each new Yellowstone reaction lol.
i love this show. i've never been so addicted to a show in a really long time. i just started season 5 & holy crap. the drama that unfolds. i won't ruin anything, but brace yourselves. jimmy is by far my favorite side character. enjoy the rest of the run. can't wait to see the reactions to season 2

Dan's death would be more of a strangulation, since there was little or no drop when the horse was made to move. You need to basically free fall several feet at least, with a noose around your neck, for the neck to "snap". To understand what actually happens you need to know some basic anatomy of the cervical spine, i.e. the spine of the neck. Comprising of seven vertebrae, it's the two top ones that concern us: C1 and C2, named respectively the 'Atlas' and the 'Axis' vertebrae. Starting from the top, your skull's articulated surfaces rests on the articulated surfaces of the Atlas vertebra. The Atlas vertebra in turn rests on the Axis vertebra, but these two vertebrae has a unique feature compared to the other vertebrae in the spine. For extra mobility (it's nice to be able to swivel your head to keep a watch out for predators) they're more loosely connected. The main feature is that instead of a solid bony structure, the Atlas has a (strong) band of connective tissue spanning horisontally between two bony protrusions, creating together with the lateral part of the vertebra - in lack of a better word - a hole. Now, the vertebra just under it, the Axis vertebra, has itself a unique feature. In the lateral part of the vertebra, it has a bony formation - basically a bony "finger" if you will - pointing straight upwards. This bony finger fits snugly into the aforementioned "hole" of the Atlas vertebra, and together they allow us to turn our heads in a much wider angle compared to if we only turn our spine. Instead, the other scenario is that the rope is too short or the drop is too gradual (as can happen when a horse trots out from underneath), in which case you have suffocation -- which may not be terminal if it's stopped quickly enough.

His hands weren’t tied, as you can see him grabbing at his neck when Kayce walks away, and his body didn’t drop quickly, so his neck didn’t break. So I decided to pull the trigger and signed up for the patreon so I could get watch season 2 without waiting, but it turns out you guys had a bunch of stuff deleted on accident, so they're not there. It makes me sad, but I'm still happy I signed up for the patreon anyway. I guess I'll just keep waiting here on youtube.
There's a reason why people who were supposed to be hanged on the gallows in the past were sent through a trapdoor that had to have a certain height. This served to break the neck. If it does not, which also happened, a long brutal dying process took place. Because it takes a relatively long time for a person to suffocate. This goes on for minutes, not seconds. A horse has no trapdoor. It just rides off and you just swing off the saddle. Very unlikely to suffer a broken neck and die instantly. For the brain, it becomes critical after 6 to 7 extremely long minutes.
I’m sorry to anyone who disagrees but Monica always sort of got on my nerves lol, but you have no idea what’s ahead! This show gets better and better and better.
I think these are some of the mild ones as far as emotional, they get more emotional as they go. Love this show though. You should watch 1883 spinoff as well it's really good. I really haven't been able to get into the other one.

I watched some of his interviews and he is definitely a cowboy. You can tell by the way he walks he’s ridden horses all his life.
