Do you know what fuses you tapped into?
The B+ was tapped into passenger seat power and ACC was tapped into steering wheel buttons.
Was it really necessary to run the engine while recording?
I left the truck running to show power to dashcam, since I had the doors open. If I had left the key on and door open, it would have a key chime.
You showed it after it was installed. Really useless.
It wasn't very challenging to "fish" the wires where I planned on running them. If you're not confident in trying it yourself, you could ask friend for help or pay a shop to do it.
