Bunnell was the OG badass of these kinds of shows, surely.. Still loved decades later.. Now he’s nearly 78..
That’s pretty cool honestly
He's 79 (Born in 1944)
John Bunnell the pun master. Love it !!!
I loved this show when I was younger. Never realized back then how over used the added sound effects are
Lol all it did was add fake drama for ratings. It clearly worked.
I didnt even realize it til you pointed it out 🤦🏿♂️😂😂
Lol the sound effects makes me laugh, the timing is so right
Exactly! Also, has anyone also noticed that the "officer" in the chopper is virtually always the same person regardless of where in the country is happens? 😂
@@spencerhonda7445 Officer in the Chopper? That's strange. I thought he was the Eye in the Sky reporter.
I remember Growing up watching this America's Most Wanted cops and those other old TV shows
That old FOX lineup...memories 😢
I love how the editors apparently hear cars squealing tires going straight and not changing speed at all
The sound effects and the narrator, the "chopper" crew 😂 is annoying at times
@@bradleysmith9431 Stu mundel is the guy in some of the la chopper chases (They are real chase reports from him).
Most of these were filmed in the late 90's when mace was still being used because tasers weren't introduced until 2003 or so.
The Foley room must have been going nonstop with the sound enhanced effects
Love these old shows
I just love how they add sound affects to the videos
And the "chopper" crew. They ain't in no chopper, so why do they give us 2 narrators?
@@bradleysmith9431 the guy who is commentating in most of the helicopter footage is Larry Welk, I believe. He's a news chopper pilot in Los Angeles.
Oh, yes! The John Newcomb incident was definitely one for the books.
This brings back memories lol
RIP Dan Jenkins
He was a good friend..badge 1111..is he on this one?
@@richardcarter8134I HAVE A RIGHT TO TAKE A TEST
I miss the memories of Sgt. C. D. Jenkins very much.
Good show.
Never steal a cop's cruiser. Even if they try to get away a second time after arrest or resisting arrest. It still doesn't work. Possession of stolen police property becomes a stiffer charge.
Dont most if those cars have kill switches so no one can get far? Maybe today, but not back when this show was on. Agreed .Never take a cop car. Not worth it. 👍
Robust, Firm, 🍆🍭
I think most cop cars now are tracked
@@christopherjohnson5236 lol
@@christopherjohnson5236 back then they used a low jack
I remember this show I used to watch it all the time
Cant wait for Season 3 next
Post production team deserves an oscar.
Amazing these 30 year old videos still popular!
Back when TV was REAL, not "REALITY".
I agree with you
Who was filming that home invasion??? Loved this show when I was younger, would love watching it with my dad. But I am starting to wonder now if some of the footage used on this show is actually training footage. Also love when the helicopter narrator somehow has prescient knowledge of the criminal and other people in the cars around them.
Some of the footage is training videos. In the top left corner, it says 'Police Training Video' or something along the lines of that. They usually have about 1-2 an episode, if any at all.
So you think they would fake these crashes and chases , just curious
@@256NATO nah cause that's just not possible. Tbf in a few episodes it does specify that they are showing training footage. But what I think it comes down to is that a lot of criminals in Southern California in the 90s knew that if they ran from the cops they'd probably get on TV, and I'm not sure if this is true as well but I imagine a lot of them probably figured they were gonna go to jail anyway so might as well tack on a felony evasion charge
Years ago I and 2 others were heading back to Wisconsin from an aimless road trip out west. It was rally time and we broke down on I-94 south of Sturgis. A state trooper picked us kids up and he was the coolest, nicest guy you could ever meet. He took us to a small town he lived in and hooked us up with a motel room for a great price. The owner husband guy went out to the interstate and got our car. We had a great evening talking about life and adventures. The next morning we all repaired the car together. Bad fuel pump and filter. Then by midday we all said our good byes and we headed home.
I'm not a big supporter of cops but that one was to me what it's all about. Thanks again trooper!!!
Same. It's a shame there's so many who abuse their power or just do nothing, when a few of them are actually quite helpful.

Dam. Talk about a contradiction. But who's the actual contradiction? 🤔
@@puppiesarepower3682 you answered your own question.
Think about it.
Denton, Texas man I used to live there a few years ago and the cops there don't play around
Bravo pour la vidéo, j'espère que les saoulons, vont réfléchir avant de reprendre la route,la POLICE Fait SONT TRAVAIL ❤👍 Merci pour la vidéo
I miss when the LAPD caused more collateral damage than Rambo. They are too soft now.
JB! I love all of what hou have brought us!!! Thank you. 🙏
13:00 This cop was so nice to this man......and he still acted like a total a-hole......drunks are seriously some of the worst people on earth......
LOVE THE JOHN NEWCOMB SEGMENT
I wonder how he felt when Jenkins was killed.
hopefully remorse@@tworthington27
that's why u never leave keys in running cop cars and then they do t take them.. duh!
I literally would not have passed the leg test even if I was sober because my balance sucks lol
Then u go to jail. u would like to be somebodys bitch anyways i can tell
lol no fr they would’ve thought i was drunker than these people 😂
Get your head out of the clouds... Any normal human being should be abke to do this effortlessly.

@@Mikka.Landry Nice try.. 🙄
The pepper spray burns I need something for my eyes… it’s okay look out into the wind 😂😂😂😂😂😂 😂😂😂
Those soundeffects.......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now I want to watch the old Cold Case Files
I loved that show!!
I remember John Walsh used to host the show record show 😮
Keep up the great work, I love this show I can't believe how much danger these💩💩💩 head people put others in dangerous situations.Be careful out there POLICE 🚓.
John Bunnel - Famous Police TV Sportscaster 😅
They got the sound effects CRANKED in this 😂
There are four clips involving stolen police cars in the episode: The first was in Abbeville, South Carolina, the second was in Denton, Texas, the third was in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the fourth was in Artesia, New Mexico.
32:29 I guess that drunkard wasn't loving New Mexico
I never noticed. It’s excessive
39:59 They reused that shot in that Train Wrecks documentary also hosted by John Burnell.
i used to think i would never ever get bored watching this but everything gets old after a while
To be fair, back in the day you’d only get one episode a week.
I don’t know if you ever been on a helicopter but you can’t even hear the person next to you, but apparently in this one you can hear sirens and tires 😂
28:01 that officer just watched him get out the back and open the passenger door and didn’t do anything until the other guy ran over
22:07 you wouldnt lead a high speed chase over $100 in merch. They deffff had warrants
You don't have to pass a test to be a criminal 😂🎉
Great vid
Yabba dabba don't!
34:45 It looks more like he was taken off of a dirt road out in the middle of nowhere than a street.
@ 5:35 I live in Abbeville and the chase happened five days before the North Hollywood shootout in Los Angeles.
Was you alive during north HW ?
Yeah, I was four years old when it happened.
You can tell the narrator is all for the cops by the way he gives false info. "He just rear-ended a vehicle". NO, a cop pit maneuvered him into that car!
Sheriff John Bunnell got his start on the TV show COPS believe it or not, he was in Season 1 back in the 80's when he was a real cop. Then he spun off and did this show.
Valley Brook Oklahoma 😂oh my I could tell you some stories about that little excuse for a town 😂 I bet I know where he got that beer. LoL
Captain Michael Stamp was assaulted by the drunk guy.
5:35 Can you imagine not knowing that the cop car was stolen and see it swerve into your lane and drive you off the road? Lol
What a head trip for these pedestrians.
That wouldn't give you a good feeling about police.
Needs more sound effects
I enjoy these, but I really wish they hadn't chosen to add so much BS drama.
WAKE UP BABE…THE VIDEO CAMERA IS RUNNING
I have a question rq. Wy are all the videos prior 2010??
Good. Ideo
Lmao high performance cruiser. They are standard cars / SUV with lights / two way radio and cage plus push bar . Nothing else.
God Bless Pastor John Hagee..🫠
😂😂😂😂😂
I agree
Cholos in woodland hills stick out like a sore thumb
25:45 do yall think his friend's told him to stop? Lol. That was a quick moment of clarity. Also that officer was so on point with him duckin out he way of tht hit.
The sound effects are the worst. Screeching tires going straight on the interstate at 120mph.....think the sound tech is deaf, and blind.
It is great 👍 to have good cops 👮♀️ 👏 👍 for are protection 👏 🎉
40:26 40:31 40:52 rattled like ragdolls
Dang this happen not far from where I live at 😂😂😂 but I’d been a kid back then not driving around to see it
Putting additional sound effects on the audio is just stupid.
no its not
*I don't remember having video cameras in '93?* 😅
Like it's been said" crime doesn't pay.
John Bunnell smiles 😊😁 as he's being honest in these episodes of World's Wildest Police 🚓🚨 Videos in general! 7:10
Drunk police officers eh?😮😅❤😊
Still a great show especially while ingested pizza 🍕🍕🍕🍕 😂 yum #2023
I couldn't take the narrator's voice or the reshowing several times over of the same thing.
12:56
The last man from South Carolina, ran from the law drunk, crashed repeatedly, drove in circles then hit a police car repeatedly. His license were suspended and fined $2,000.....are you freaking kidding..😵😵😵..i live in S.C., in 2005 I went thru a nasty divorce, the ex cancelled my insurance the day I left w/o my knowledge. I get pulled over, completely sober, and find out I'm driving with no insurance. My license gets suspended due to no insurance, I get taken to jail, $3,500 in fines, and had to pay $463 every month for insurance for 3 yrs. No wonder this state is so screwed up
Wow what a joke!
The added sound effects are way too much…. How can we hear the tires screech from a helicopter??😂
Yea I got a old police car, and it has the cop chip, 4 on the floor, 3 in the back seat, and 2 in the glovebox......🙄💩💩
Angel fell from the sky
39:00 In pursuit of a red Nissan 300ZX Z31
It's very foolish to outrun the police, especially if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
I have a lot of nostalgia for this show but damn they used way too many stock sound effects lol
4:30 Yea, he thinks EVERYONE is as dumb as he is... 🤷🏻
HEY!
The hard way
39:50 So we are just going to skip over the part where that innocent person wrecked his car and suffered injuries ONLY because the cop became completely reckless and forced it to happen? We are just going to brush right over that and blame that on the criminal?
That's not okay..........
Hahaha!!! That drunk guy who stole the cop 👮♂️ car 🚓 was freaking halarious, I laughed all through it lol
The police always needing help, but they signed up for hard work. So let them work 😂😭💀
Cops should have a nerve agent they can use on people
Why repeat after we have just watched it? So annoying.
To trigger you ❄️
40:20 Tri City Bay Busted Moment
If you played nfs undercover
Bad sync.
Remember, cockroaches always run.
Aussie Cops have cameras and bretholiser tests in the car and that all they need . Why play with them just straight in and BAM @
I wonder how much $$ the police have to spend on fixing or buying new cruisers on a yearly basis? They HAVE to stop fleeing criminals and its definitely dangerous.
@FilmRiseTrueCrime you should have converted it to 16:9 widescreen. Another reason for creators to fight with RUclips for a more advanced Y/Studio platform. Viewers should be able to change to widescreen in video settings. Just my opinion.
Lol its hard enough to get this footage edit and upload without losing quality and you want 16 9
By all means create a channel and make a video trust me it's very hard
اف بي اي اغيت .
Nobody wants to go back to jail or even that prison. They need to except the consequences of their actions
❤❤❤❤❤😊
❤️👍❤️
Ig it’s a good thing that I categorically REFUSE to drink Alcohol even if I’m 19 nothing and no one will ever change my mind
When cops learn how to drive, how much do they learn about car control? Do they learn about how to shift the weight of the car and use it to get around turns faster like rally drivers? Do they learn the Scandinavian Flick?
take out the fake tire screeches all i hear lmao
I actually think they're real
Bigger
Cops should know to take the keys out of the car. A couple of chases on here show a stolen cop car both cases the cop left the keys in the car
