Hey guys, this comment will be a little late but can be used for future reference, you should carry a gas/brake line flare kit. Just stumbled onto your channel today and like it very much. Bus looks great and you have an amazing family! Keep up the good work!
Hiya.. you need to buy an underblanket for the hammock, it connects underneath the hammock, not compressing and trapping the warm heat from your body in the space between... You'll notice the difference will be 100% warmer.. I'm in Scotland and use this system all the time, in minus 0 ..
I truly enjoyed your video sorry that you had so many problems . this is just a suggestion as a long distance trucker also I live in a bus RV cuz I'm now retired. Get you a wabasco diesel heater. It runs off the diesel in your tank it doesn't use much fuel and it'll keep the inside of your bus warm. I wish you guys all the best of luck really enjoy your videos, your Rv friend😎👍🇺🇲🇺🇲
Get snowmobile suits is steel suites for your entire family they will keep you warm and you can sleep in the cold and still be safe better to have them and not need them than need them and not Them.
love my gilli!! but it broke down when bringing home! IT WAS 110 Me and my dog. we had a portable ac and a gen to run it, for 3 days could not move no rooms no shop the whole time had i known about the safety bypass switches, the brakes would not go off the wheelchair ramp thought it was out. the tow truck hit it with its lift and evey thing stared working! but i had to pay him with a tow or not. so 150mile tow
If you can't fix it, don't buy it ! There is no way that JB Weld is going to stick on a wet fuel line. The easiest way to fix that line would have been to cut the line and slip a piece of fuel hose (1/2" ?) over it and secure both ends with hose clamps. Should have parked the bus, taken an Uber to someplace to buy the tools you needed and a piece of hose and hose clamps. 1 hour fix. The other way to fix that line would be to have it brazed. Any reputable welding or HVAC shop could do it. Pull the line, take an Uber to the shop, have it done, Uber back, install it and you are good to go. I don't know how many times RV/Bus people need to hear this, but Good Sams and other towing services are absolutely useless. Min. service time is 6 hours. They hate moving RVs and buses. You'll get a claim on your insurance and your premium will go up. Half the time people get their RV towed to a place that either doesn't want to fix it or won't. Or will charge you $$$ for fixing it. Learn to fix things yourself. Buy the tools, buy the shop manual. Get your hands dirty.
Hey Justin, can you tell us what the interior height and width of this bus is? I’m thinking of looking for a transit instead of your typical school bus, and I’m wondering what you think the pros and cons are. Thanks! Great build!
This bus is 96 inches wide just like a school bus. There are transit buses that are 102 inches wide but I'm not sure id want to drive anything wider. I believe the empty bus ceiling height was 77 inches just like a tall school bus. Basically this bus shares a chassis with the bluebird school buses and is just constructed slightly differently
I am an Arab young man and I respect you very much and I hope to be with you in the team. I am a young mechanic and electrician. I did not study it, but I learned it because I worked in car maintenance and I learned it from experience. I would like to develop myself. I would like to develop myself and be with you in your team. If you want to leave me your number, I can communicate with you on WhatsApp. I do not speak English.🏵🌹🌹🌸🌺💐💐

Blue Bird all American
How much was the purchase price
I'm pretty sure Sam and Katy paid $7K for this, maybe a little less.
