Steve Blank hits the nail on the head! Startups aren’t just mini versions of big companies. Do you think focusing on finding the right business model is more critical than executing like a big corporation from day one? Let’s hear your thoughts!
No he is wrong. An MVP is not a slide or wireframe. Unless your product is a slide or wireframe. It is a minimum viable product, meaning it has to be an actual product. A product a customer is willing to pay for to receive. If the customer is willing to pay for a slide, sure, but I assume that is not he means. What he is talking about is a prototype, proof of concept or mock-up. Stop confusing people about what an MVP is. You can actually SELL an MVP, and it should the minimal you can make it and people still pay for it.
I think he meant that you should get even a slide or wireframe in front of the customer to get feedback to improve your product from day 1. That doesn't mean that the customer can use the product, but can already give feedback, specifically on their pain points.

You might want to fix the audio in this video. There are a lot of jarring stutters and breaks. Other than that, great video!
Thank you for pointing that out, I'll work on improving the audio for future videos!

Maybe we should start selling slides and wireframes then! Who knew they could be so valuable?
Educative

That's a great point! Feedback from customers early on is crucial for product improvement.
