I just took my oldest kiddo today to a youth pride event here in TEXAS....there must have been at least 300 LGBTQ+ young people and their families, and there were less than 20 protesters at any point. Veterans For Equality were there hanging out with the police who now have a Gay-Straight-Alliance in their department, just keeping the peace and keeping things calm. There are also many black men (mostly liberals and Lebron James being the main one) in the sport and media areas that have come out in favour of supporting and defending CC. You need to make your commentary fair. It’s men in general regardless of political background that have now shown interest in the WNBA because of Clark.

Now it's Caitlin Clark, then it was Andrew Lin in the NBA, and Yao Ming before him. But before then, there was Tiger Woods in the PGA. In music, there was Eminem in rap, there was Yo-Yo Ma in classical, and there was Darius Rucker in country.
So it's not just a "white person in a black space" can be any non-black person in a black space but also any non-white person in a white space.

Clark reminds me of Jackie Stiles from SMS, now MSU but 23 years later. The league was brand new then. Jackie Stiles was called the new Cheryl Burnett who was her coach and mentor. I think it’s finally great that these women can potentially play and not have to fall back on coaching or commentary after their career is over. As a young teen who idolized Jackie, I’m just happy the skills are being highlighted. These people never cared about women’s basketball and their daughters hear this and want to prove them wrong. I’m rooting for all the women in the WNBA
11:15 I wish it were just hyperbole, but I grew up in a religious home with a Bircher father. I only started my leftward shift in the last several years (I'm 41 and a full-blown commie, but I used to be a proto-fascist), but as I deprogram myself I look back on things that I had said, done and believed and wish I could have done things differently...but realize that I would have had to be an entirely different person in an entirely different environment because I was raised to be a right winger.
