Mr. Blue Eyes is an enigma, even to us _deep_ in the Cyberpunk lore. Even knowing he's just a video game character comprised of a bunch of 1's and 0's, the guy still creeps me out
By far one of the most enigmatic and interesting characters in the game. At first I thought he's just a "representative" of the almighty puppeteers pulling the strings like government and corpos but that Roge AI theory is really good!
Why are you saying it like its some secret? You only get a handful of references, all being vague. Of course he's an "enigma". Beig a big fan wouldn't change that. It's not fallout where you can cobble together a theory about him from nothing.
I love the Ghost girls in Pokemon, the fact that they're just there and their existence is never explained leaving everything to speculation is part of thw charm of the world of Pokemon
Mr. Blue Eyes is super fascinating cos it’s thought a lot of what happens in Cyberounk even the smallest side quests. He’s involved in somehow, likes he’s been pulling the strings the whole time. Hopefully in the next game CDPR give us more info/interactions with him cos some quests were left off on a cliff hanger.
I've heard of Mr Blue Eyes a couple times and I've seen people draw comparisons to the Illusive Man from the Mass Effect games. Both were a suit, have an enormous amount of wealth from some unknown interest, and are both very mysterious characters in their respective lore. Definitely an interesting character
Is he the guy who drugs and has his way with Arthur? At first I was pissed because I thought he robbed me, then I saw my money was still there and I realized what actually happened. I went straight back to the house and killed him lol.
One of the theories roaming around on the internet is that Mister Blue Eyes is also Morgan Blackhand. Other than Adam Smasher and Johnny Silverhand, Rouge, and the other OG heroes of Cyberpunk RPG's original line up before 2077, Morgan Blackhand was a legendary Solo. The thing is... he dissappeared. He's mentioned in the game, idly by Jackie and a few others, but the game otherwise does NOT reference what happened to the guy. It's a strong assumption that Morgan is Mister Blue Eyes. On the mission with the Paralleses, IF... you unlock your movement (PC Only and with cheats) and you get nice up and front with the guy, you can find some interesting details, like the ring he wears is the same ring that many of the monks who are praying before those 4-armed statues that were a part of the long-running ERG also wear. There's something deeper here, and CDPR hasn't said a single thing about it.
The style they were going for in the spider-man 2 clip i believe was supposed to be the “Spider-Man” game from the PlayStation 1 era, so if she appears in the third film there a chance we could get a visit to that dimension which would be really cool to see a modern day take on the PS1 graphics
I hear you with the evermeans. First encounter, the only thought in my head was "I'm flurry rushing a tree??!! WHY AM I FLURRY RUSHING A TREE??!! WHAT??!!"
Honestly if there's a disturbing character from Open World games that should be here is definitely the "Mysterious Stranger" from the Red Dead Redemption games. Honestly there is so much to unpack with his character and to this day nobody agrees with who or what he is or what he's representing.
The scariest tree to ever attack me was in Don’t Starve. I’ll never forget this one late night, I’m just chopping trees for wood and then suddenly one springs to life and chases me through the night endlessly. That was truly terrifying.
How about funniest headcanons in gaming I got one that says what if the Arkham City thug who says “I’d even give Bludhaven a shot” is the same guy in Arkham Knight who says “Nightwing’s in town? I left Bludhaven to get away from him”
In pokemon sword and shield theres a girl in the mushroom town that stares at a wall and when you ask her about it she says some like "im talking to my friend" or somethin creepy like that
There's also a more obvious one with the little girl that asks you to bring a letter to her friend. When you deliver the letter it's to a grown adult who says he hasn't heard from her since they were kids and when you go back the girl is gone
Wish you would put a label to what game it is at the time in these types of video's. It is very easy to miss and a PITA to have to scroll back to find when exactly you mention it...
That Evermean Tree thing reminds me of the time my character got punted by a tree in a TTRPG. We were playing this game called Anima and we were in this old ruins that had some trees in it. Well one of the trees was kind of like a guard dog that only attacked the particular race I was playing. It didn't escalate into a full fight but needless to say my character wasn't happy getting kicked by a tree about 40 feet.
In reference to #9: Mother Theresa believed that suffering brought you closer to God. And that caring for those who are suffering is the next best thing. Not treating or healing them. Just caring for them as a terminal hospice. She did not attempt to provide medical aid of any kind, only treat the basic symptoms and try to make them comfortable as they die. Watching them die.
The dude in Skellige in Witcher 3, for the Side quest Shock Therapy. The silent druid Egill I think, where he swears you off with the middle finger after you give him a scare.
The "Tengu" from Ghost of Tsushima is a fairly freaky character. The game is mostly grounded in realism, barring the usual artistic flair to make the story and gameplay feel like a samurai film, but then you have this so-called Tengu Demon that shows up in one of the game's optional side quests. In it, you learn of a longbow that belonged to a legendary samurai who supposedly slew a Tengu, which is a Japanese demon that takes on a birdlike form, and supposedly the samurai became cursed and saw other people as demons, and began attacking at random. When you begin following the quest to find the bow, a man in a tengu mask begins stalking you and trying to warn you to stay away. Once you've tracked bow's location, you're then sucked into a strange dreamscape and forced to fight the masked man as birds swirl all around. Once you defeat him, he just vanishes, and is never mentioned again. That is, in the main game at least. In the Iki island DLC expansion, there's a scroll you can find that suggest that the man may have been a monk who was exposed to the psychedelic poison used by the expansion's main antagonist, the shaman known as the Eagle. Which in some ways makes the guy even stranger since he decides to go and protect an allegedly haunted weapon far, far away from where he lives.
I'm honestly very surprised that red dead2 didn't make it on this list with all random events you can see you can find some incredibly disturbing strangers in the open world
That's what I'm thinking, if I'm not mistaken she's one of the few people who can freely travel across the spider verse an knows every timeline 🤔 but im just going of what I know from all the times I've seen here in shows over the years an in shattered dimensions
I remember when I first played Dragon Age: Origins when I ventured into the Brecillian Forest to recruit the elf’s into my army. As I went deeper I saw these odd looking trees called Sylvans, and Holy crap, was I creeped out by them suddenly attacking not just by one, but two of them at the same time! And boy, did they do damage too, especially on Nightmare… my whole team was wiped out in mere seconds and I too would have been killed if I had not the foresight to make a fuck load of health potions! Those things were were the worst. Oh and the Broodmother also scared the crap out of me too! (Shivers) 😨

6:19 tears of the kingdom actually uses a different engine (more similiar to splatoon 3 than botw supposedly) it's wilder that they rebuilt so much of the first game on another engine.

There's a ton of theories about him being a Rouge AI that inhabited a body or build one.
@@georgejones5019
Indeed, I've heard a few that he was "secure your soul" _before_ the official Arasaka version; that he gave them the idea, ya'know?

Red Dead 1 and 2 could (and should) have their own top 10 list.
They only picked games from the last few years it seems, except fallout new vegas
Has anyone seen my friend Gavin?
Those incestuous siblings in Aberdeen farm should be here for sure…
Not really sewing as they still picked FF 7 still to be on this list.
Delilah was a 90’s low level Spidey villain that worked for different crime bosses throughout various comics. Never really a huge character.
I think it's meant to be a different Delilah

Sonny from RDR2. I've never felt so violated
Came to say this.
People always mention the Aberdeen Pig Farm, but Sonny is easily the creepiest and worst, in my opinion.
Is he the guy who drugs and has his way with Arthur? At first I was pissed because I thought he robbed me, then I saw my money was still there and I realized what actually happened. I went straight back to the house and killed him lol.
This game has a lot. I love the scene where the Murphee guy is in your camp if you sleep - he basically threatens you to leave.
The misterious strange man is more disturbing.
👍
(Cyberpunk) You also meet the blue eyed man. When you do the Sun and don’t fear the reaper endings of the game.

The dumbest thing about the evermean trees is that they are clearly deciduous. The pun does not even make sense.
You’re right. It makes no sense. I doubt most people playing even know about or understand what a deciduous tree is, and that makes it even funnier.
