Reaching Master with Blue-Eyes Horus Deck! Ft. Bystial Dragons

- I have shown how Blue-Eyes has great synergy with Horus archetype in the previous BE video ( • The new Blue-Eyes Horu... ). Now I will also show how they play alongside Bystials. Horus helps the consistency and getting access to R8 XYZ easier, due to their easy summon gimmick, while Blue-Eyes giving them plenty good discard fodders for Horus' cost (like Imsety and Sarcophagus). I have shown in some of my videos in the past, that Blue-Eyes can work well with Bystial. Horus, on the other hand, can also be combined with Bystial, which will be shown in this video.
The deck prefers to go 1st and make a board as strong as possible. These 3 archetypes have easy lv 8 summons, which helps summoning any R8 XYZ needed. The combo is not linear, so you may need time to learn some tricks. I have shown in several replays how to play the deck if you only start with either Blue-Eyes and Horus cards, Blue-Eyes and Bystial Cards, Horus and Bystial Cards, or even having all 3 of them together in your starting hand. If you want to play Dis Pater, you can also see the decklist of the synchro version of the deck. Besides, I also show the 60 cards versions of the decks, if you love pile decks, in the video.

Ur salamangreat vid really helped me in building mine, I made almost the same deck with some differences:
1. Instead of a third raging phoenix, I just put accesscode
2. The main deck cards that I'm missing are: 2 more fires/ash/maxx c, crossout designator, called by the grave and 2 more imperms
To compensate, I put some of the alternatives that were in the description and added some more that would work with the deck.
Salamangreat of Fire is at least 1, so you can use Gazelle into Miragestallion combo. You can play 2 Lady debug in its place as budget alternative. The combo of Debug and Fire is pretty much the same. The only difference is that you need to link summon Balelynx twice in order to trigger Gazelle's summon from hand effect, whereas Fire as a Salamangreat helps trigerring Gazelle on its own.
Raging Phoenix at 2 is minimum, so you are good. The other cards are staples. I think you should have them, but you can replace them with other staples for now

I've been trying real hard to make a blue eyes horus winged dragon of ra deck. Its coming along pretty good!
Edit: So it's now complete and it is working very well. It's more like blue-eyes support. 1 Blue-Eyes, 1 Dictator, 1 Sage, 1 egg, And jet dragon. I also have 1 assault synchron, 1 level 2 blackwing tuner that lets you summon if 2000 or more attack on the field, so I can make Baron or full effect Chaos Angel. And obviously for jet to come back and protect my sarcophagus, true sun god, and my monsters. (This isn't blue-eyes) but have eldrich in there too so I can pop true sun god so all my other monsters can attack with Ra. Or Baron effect to pop it too. So the little bit of blue-eyes engine in there really fits nice with Horus Ra mix. Going second is better in my opinion with my build, but it does have plays to work going first to make Apoloyusa, Black Luster Soldier full effects, or the normal galaxy xyz like Harbinger etc.

The last line of support needed for Blue-Eyes in MD is Alternative Ultimate Dragon and whatever the new support cards out of the new Structure Deck coming out later this year are.

@@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 TBH, I tried various decks and one that gave me some sort of consistency to get the gems for the missions was a combination of Red Archfiend, Bystial and Burned for back up. Though it's really hit or miss as most of the duels used Tearlaments, Snake-Eyes and Kashtira as they can still combo despite the limit. The worst is that most of them are all in a single deck at times.

@@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990You can try out blue-eyes galaxy-eyes bystial deck, didn’t brick that much and it’s a solid going second deck in the event, and as a plus you can use the horus cards to boost the deck overall (i didn’t use it because I didn’t have enough UR to make the whole engine…)
i'd love to see a Dark Magician or a Hero variant but mostly DM since i have most of those cards. Also Buster Blader. On another creators video i also suggested Sacred Beasts and Nordic Gods.
DM and Buster Blader with Horus? I think that's possible, but maybe not soon. I cant make Hero. It's too expensive and I dont think they need Horus aside from quick R8 XYZ no 90.

Question: Is the Horus engine worth crafting to use with the Chaos MAX deck?
It provides discard outlets for the stones to search material, and pretty easy Zombie Vampires and Photon Lords to up consistency and insulate your combos, and just spammable material + attack pressure. But these advantages go to most decks that include Horus, and not so much Chaos Maxx directly.
Would make for an all-around stronger + more flexible deck, imo, but also adds up to 3 potential bricks (each of the Horus monster beyond Imsety).
Add to those potential bricks Chaos Maxx + Form, plus the OG Blue-Eyes, that's a lot of creative ways Master Duel can stop you from playing, if it thinks you've won enough.
@@dudeguy8686 I see, but the benefits seem kinda worth it to me, in any case I'm not planning to use on the higher ranks, only to have fun in lower ranks.

I think yes, but only for draw and R8 turbo to bait interruptions. Just play 3 Imsety, 2 Sarco, and 1 Hapy/Duamutef. Optimally, I dont think you need Horus. But, Horus can be played in many other decks, so you can consider them as staples that can be played in many decks.

Unrelated to the video, but I was wondering if you could help me with building a DM deck. I can't for the life of me think of a good DM deck... There are no cards that synergize well with DM. The Horus cards are good and souls can send Imsety to the GY and can potentially go into Coach for 3 draws, but other than that I feel like it's impossible to get the DM triangle in one turn consistently. The Horus cards are naturally strong... pretty much any deck other than DM can use them better. As for the DM triangle it is Dragon Knight, Eternal Souls, and Dark Magical Circle and trying to get those three without burning your whole hand feels impossible.
Like if there was a non-engine card that could search for Circle, Eternal Souls, or summon Dragon Knight easily (a true 1-card combo and not 1.5 card combo like branded fusion) I would like DM a lot more.

Mostly because dictator and horus (for extra horus mill) benefit more from stone of legend than ancient.

Blue-Eyes adds discard fodder and free level 8s at the cost of a lot of bricks. Whether that is worth is up to you.
Favorite Blue-Eyes combo right now:
Dictator + a Normal'd Ringowurm = Dis Pater and an extra Level 2 tuner (through Chaos Beast and Accel Stardust).
A Blue-Eyes card in that hand is another easy level 10 synchro, or Spright Elf/Ip/Sp material if any other extender is available (including Dis Pater's potentials).
Assuming everything is interruption-free, of course..
