New Supports for Blue-Eyes XYZ OTK Deck! - Dark Hole Dragon and Hyang of the Fire Kings!

- I've updated my original creation, Blue-Eyes XYZ OTK, when Horus cards arrived at Master Duel last month. Now, I also play two new cards from the new Selection pack, Lord of Dimensions, which are Dark Hole Dragon and Garunix Eternity, Hyang of the Fire Kings, in my OTK deck.
The deck's gameplan is to go 2nd, be aggresive, and OTK if possible by using Blue-Eyes cards, like Alternative and Jet, as its core, into XYZ monsters. To do that, I play plenty of cards to counter/destroy the current meta. Horus' arrival, as well as Trade In becoming a f2p card, help the consistency of this deck. Dark Hole Dragon and Hyang of the Fire Kings are some nice inclusions into the deck. Dark Hole Dragon, altho not mandatory for the deck imo, is a searchable Dragon, which can summon itself and benefit from destruction cards, whereas Hyang can be a board breaker if you need it. Besides, Hyang helps triggering the effect of both Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon and Dark Hole Dragon. This helps baiting interruptions faster and help ensuring the OTK of the deck. If you ask me, I will say this deck can reach Master 1, as I have done it several times with this deck in the past.

wholeheartedly agree about hyang. i realized how good hyang is after reading the effect, and i think whoever play horus needs to put at least 1 hyang in their extra deck. the boardwipe doesn't affect horus monster and then popping 1 of the backlane is very important.
It does feel like Dark Hole Dragon is an honourary Kaiba card, especially when taking into account the virus theme.

Just like your horus build where I said I got horus cards and was gonna scrap them but wanted to wait and see if I could use them with blue eyes I was also gonna scrap the dark hole dragons I got but thought I would hold onto them just in case you showed a video using them with blue eyes, same with hyang :D
I love blue eyes but I'm too much of a noob to see the synergy of out of archetype cards working in certain decks :) Love the video as always

Ultimate Fusion into Dark Hole Dragon is the combo only Kaiba can pull

i felt like Dark Hole Dragon fit more into Horus deck because horus cant be destroyed if there is King sarcs on the field

Feel like 2024 is the year of OG yugioh or something. They release a lot of support or revamp cards for anime/manga deck in OCG

Had a blast with the Priest Seto's deck but found my limit around Dlv 13 ...
Some people may know and others don't (and unrelated to this video) , but don't use Bystial Dis Pater's effect to return one of your banished cards to your deck or extra deck to destroy Nibiru. It will destroy Nibiru, but all monsters on the field will still act as it they were tributed. This is a bug?
No, that isnt a bug. Nibiru's 1st effect is to tribute, then summoning it alongside token. If you dont negate it, it will tribute all monsters. Then if it's not in hand, it wont be summoned.

The new xyz fire king is pretty much useable in any deck run level 8 monster easy wipe and back roll pop

What would you use instead of imsety? I dont have any gems atm xD
In the first duel, why didn’t you summon Alternative and pop Unicorn before activating Imsety? Unicorn would have been off the field and not banished a card from your ED if you waited until after removing Unicorn to activate Imsety.
I was sure I was winning, so I didnt care about that. If he banished Hyang, I would go for Numeron Dragon. If he banished No 97 or Numeron Dragon, it's the same result as the video.

What would you make the build look like if you didn't wanna run Horus stuff but still kept the rest. Basically what would recommend putting in those slots
They are too good to skip. There are other lv 8s that arent as good, like 3 dangers!, yakusa, astral kuriboh, schwarschild, etc

Is this better than Horus Blue Eyes? I’ve really been struggling in the WCS m, I’m at stage 16… going second feels like depression.
If you play going 1st horus blue-eyes, and your handtraps cant stop your opp, it will feel bad ngl.

Dude, one question: why can't I use "chaos form" or "blue-eyes chaos form max" when I get any of them by using "the melody of the awakening dragon" or any other one on my first turn (and I go 2nd)? It's just I struggle to get one of them on my turn, but when I get both of them like this on that very turn I can't use the blue-eyes chaos form max and my opponent has a free turn to attack me. Do you know the answer? Thank you.
You skipped lots of details, so I will assume a few things.
1. You get locked somehow. You have a card that prevents special summon, like Iblee. Your opp may also have similar cards as well. Hence, you cant summon Chaos MAX.
2. You dont have enough materials. Remember, you need to tribute monster(s) with total of lv 8, cant exceed or fewer than that.
