It’s US western & Native American inspired & as a native from the Midwest, some of our cultures believe in modesty (obvs changed with modern times) & with the non natives here, you have to have similar clothes to these for weather & can wear these all year round to protect from all the elements.
So many of these outfits are adorable. I may have to delete some CC lol That’s never going to happen.
They should definitely add those pastel hair swatches from horses to humans. They look perfect. ❤
Edit: but because the sims team probably won't, I hope cc creators will

That was a "handlebar " mustache. And the mans shirt had what is called a Bolo tie. Both were/are popular in the American western culture.

How is it that a horse expansion pack doesn’t even include proper equestrian gear. I learned horse riding when I was a little girl and I can’t believe they skipped the actual outfit for horse riding 💀💀💀💀
My friend joked that that kinda stuff would be in a kit and his reason for his thought was “cause EA” and honestly lmao I am sorta expecting that at this point

You’re probably thinking of jodhpurs and breeches. The two men’s jackets have different materials, one is suede and the other looks like corduroy. The two men’s vest have different materials too, one is leather and the other is suede.
I’m quite disappointed there’s not more standard/non-western equestrian gear. Just a pair of jodhpurs or breeches, a separate top like in the masculine outfit or a top + jacket combo and a non-Cowboy boot for the masculine and children wear would’ve been enough. It also seems illogical to me that the toddler button up shirt and the jeans with chaps aren’t also available for children.
I was also hoping for a body protector/safety vest but idk how common that is in the equestrian community in the US. For example, I saw a video the other week of a young child (like 6-7y/o) barrel racing on a full grown horse without any protective gear and strapped (!!!) to the saddle, which to me seems like a disaster waiting to happen. Idk how common that is though.
So woman don't have english wears? Like the shoes and the pants and top for english rider. This is so sad. As an english rider I am really disapointed. Hope they put it tomorrow. Love your video it's super complete!
you can put the masculine outfit on women and it looks okay but not great, i wish they got a good outfit!
