The large bracelets (bangles) and the nose ring + head piece combo are also inspired by Indian/Sri Lankan weddings. You kinda go big or go home with it LOL
Thanks for the great review! I can’t believe they didn’t include some heels in this pack. We really need more modern heels in the game, particularly for a wedding pack.
Seriously, I can't believe it either... out of all the game packs, I can't think of one that doesn't have a female shoe? Or at least more than one male hair options?
Yeah, I'm utterly disappointed with the "variety" in this pack. What better occasion to add some slick and smart hair for male Sims and a few nice heels for female Sims?

I wish they would’ve added more veil options, but I guess that’s what CC is for. lol But this looks so great!! I love all the dress options and varieties!
Same, I understand clipping issues, but making a short veil would have been nice. Also why didn't they make that veil a hat?

Me too. I had to dock points for the lack of wedding veils. But other than that, My Wedding Stories CAS looks amazing! Very beautiful pieces. Probably my favorite CAS, next to Get Famous and Island Living! ❤️
I hope some cc creators redo the rainbow swatches in like soft pastels and ombres.
Zeussims is already working on it, their swatches are incredible!

That hair on the thumbnail is the pretties hair they ever added to the game!! I hope they’ll make more in this style for future packs, cause it’s absolutely stunning!!! Also, the more casual looking dresses look amazing, i can’t wait to create everyday outfits with the most simple one (the one with the thin straps), it’ll look amazing with jewellery and heels for a dinner date. Make up also looks beautiful. I only have problem with the shoes…this pack was the perfect opportunity to add more high heels, simple strapped heeled sandals, etc but they missed out on that, so thats extremely dissapointing (console player here, so im sick of rotating the same heels all the time) but other than that i’m really impressed with the CAS items.
I think it's prob second for me the cottage living braid is just too pretty for me to put past it but, I love all of the new stuff, I can't wait to use them in my modern boy x hippie cottage girl story uwu

I love the new hair but i hoped they would add the pastry chef career, that could be like freelancers having specific tasks such as cakes, and other sweets ecc THAT WOULD BE SOO CUTE
there’s a mod for that by adeepindigo!!! you could be a caterer or pasty chef !
I always found the hair piece attached to the hair thing really annoying since we can't change the swatch of the piece without changing the hair color. I also wish they made two versions of the hair; one with the hair piece and one without. They should make the hair piece color swatches separate to the hair color, as well as double up on hair styles, one with a hair piece and one without if they're not going to put the hair pieces in the hat category. Why must my sim have blue hair in order for me to use the rainbow hair pin, like??

I own earrings that look exactly like the leaf earrings in gold with white crystals, I got them on shein for about 5 dollars I believe?? They’re gorgeous too, I wish I could show a picture but they look like those ones in game!!
I have the same ones but I got them from Claire’s I think years ago but the are cool ear crawl earrings

These pride swatches are hideous, they could have done something way cuter.

is a buggy mess, every single person who played it in advance said so. It's best they delay it so we have the proper functioning experience

Best hair in the game yet! I love that they are not overly big or puffy especially around the top of the head. I’m loving the CAS so far I’m a huge fan of pink and even the color swatches are gorgeous! 💕💕💕

happy that Russian sims players will be able to access the new pack but did EA really have to push the release date back an entire 6 days? literally killed my mood so hard when i found out it wasn't being released tomorrow.
From what I’ve heard the current version is insanely buggy, I would rather them fix the pack and push the date than release a mega buggy pack

this pack is amazing!!! i cant wait toplay with it and make my sims have really beautiful moments in thye new town, i just noticed that the hair on the thumbnail is pretty similar with the hair that cintia behr uses in the cover of the get together pack and i'm in LOVE with it, it looks so detailed and beautiful oh god... i just wanna play with it already!

This idea I guess isn't wat should be in the upcoming pack but it would be cute to have, new baby outfits, that we could knit or idk somehow put that in there(I'm always up for some new baby outfits)😗😍
With the way hats work in The Sims 4, the veil wouldn't have worked as a hat unfortunately. I wish the veil that's tied to the Indian-style wedding dress had been a separate item though! It also wouldn't work as a hat, but I don't see why it couldn't work as a hairstyle like the birdcage veil (the long veil would work similarly to a long hairstyle in terms of weight-painting and stuff).
Edit: Sorry, I've actually gottent to the part of the video where you show off the Indian-style wedding dress. I didn't realise until now just how long the veil is. The fact that it comes down past a sim's waist is probably why it's part of the outfit instead of being a hairstyle - it's too long to be weighted properly if it was a hairstyle. Granted, I don't know this for sure, because I've never made hairstyles longer than shoulder-length for TS4, but looking at that, I was thinking "damn, how would you weight-paint that?" It can probably be done, but there's no precedent for it in the game, as we don't have hairstyles that are longer than waist length. I kinda understand now why the devs chose to make it part of the outfit, to make weighting it properly simpler. That said, I hope that a CC creator separates it (or I may give separating it a go!).

Looks ´pretty good but no heels!? That's a basic for weddings. And I wish they would have added the accessories on the hairs as accessories, not as part of the hairstyle. I mean, i love almost all ofthem but you cannot use them for everyday outfits, plus you cant change the accessorie's color without changing the hair color. That's frustrating. I wish they would stop being so lazy with these small details

Kinda disappointed with cas so far I love the new dresses and bodysuits really wish the veils and hats were separate, we got more clothing and hairstyles for children and toddlers, new shoes would be nice and definitely more male hairstyles

Not going to lie, but it feels like CAS got a downgrade since the last kit. I feel like textures are really bad, kind of like the first CAs we got for TS4 8-7 years ago.
