50:03 best advice, don't just sit and hope. Look for sign, be proactive. Some parts of the public land I hunt show signs of feral hog. So, I go there when hunting feral hog.
And now, I tend to go where I see deer.
Also, with the public land, there is more than one entrance to part of the property I hunt. So, depending on the wind, that should decide which entrance I should use because hunting with the wind in your face is the ticket. Otherwise, the deer will smell you and your scent hider spray and your non-fragrance laundry detergent.

Andy what is your diet/workout routine?
I’ve lost substantial weight the last year. Now wanting to maintain current weight and build proper muscle and endurance for mountain hunting. Your physical appearance is what I’m aiming for.
    Thank you

44:35 now that is a birthday I could want to have. Hunt, rest, hunt some more.
I like the idea of actively engaging in hunting as a developing situation. Of course, I would like to hunt from a stand that is perched about 70 yards from a full auto-feeder. That is not happening, right now. Public land is where I hunt. Hiking in, finding other hunters. So, the deer might be skiddish and the only hope is that the other hunters are driving them your way.
Scouting is great but certainly it is challenging to walk in cold and see what you can do.
Also, it seems serendipitous. How many stories have we heard of a guy who got his buck or bull on the last few minutes of legal shooting light? Of course, you have to be there taking advantage of that time, but still, just the one moment in time.

Some guys go to places with giants and shoot a small buck because they didn’t see the giant..and it happens over and over with a lot of guys and they end up lowering the age class
