Thanks for the upload. To display speed does the head unit need to be connected to WiFi? Or do you use a special dongle via connection to your phone. Tha k you.
You just need to turn your GPS Location ON and allow Carwebguru permission to access your location. No need for data or WiFi connection for it to work. Just make sure you have GPS attached to your head unit.

Hey, how to you get your WiFi on your head unit? Through phone hotspot? I just got the head unit and it's always annoying having to connect before driving.
My head unit has 4G/LTE. But I do connect my phone sometimes thru WiFi hotspot.
If you don't want to manually turn on your WiFi hotspot, you need to download Carspot Ready on your phone. What this app do is it will automatically turn on your phone's WiFi hotspot when you start your car (Phone and head unit must be connected via Bluetooth. Also, your phone's BT must be on always so you don't need to turn it on everytime you get into your car) Hope this works for you.

I wish they had Carspot ready for iPhone. I have that same issue of the headunit constantly needing to reconnect to phone’s WiFi everytime the car is started.
I try to create a theme like yours, but it didn't work. Some were superimposed on others.

Hi. On your Carwebguru Launcher, go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Enable Weather Widgets then turn it ON.

music control buttons not working. what music player do you use?
I am using Spotify. Make sure you set your music player/app as your default music player. To do this, long tap music play button, then select your desired music player.

When trying to customize your car it has to be .png format but why does mine still show the checkered background?
Make sure it has no background. The checkered background might be the real background and not clear. You may try to delete it on any photo editing app.

Speedometer not working,only odometer works
I'm using poweramp music player , how can I have blurred background image album art of the song I'm playing?
Play a song. At the bottom of the screen (left), you will see a music icon. long tap it for about 2-3 seconds to show the blurred album art in the background.

One more thing. I have the pro version, when I try to edit the widgets instead of going into editing mode when I press the empty green widgets it says 'This theme editor under construction'

hello how I can add Spotify and play on background?
Hi. Just add a shortcut app on your Carwebguru Launcher theme, and set as your default music player. To set as default music player, long tap the PLAY button then select Spotify. Now play any music from your spotify return to HOME and it will play the music in the background.

How much ram are you running on...seems like it would be pretty slow with launchers after a while
4GB RAM. Still running smooth.
@@jansen_vlog when you replaced the headunit did the sound become weaker or the same as oem....also is this the joying brand?
Almost the same with OEM. But the good thing about Android, you can download/and has built in Equalizer and DSP, so the sound becomes better.

Hi. Make sure you grant CWG permission to access your location and notification. Also, make sure your GPS location is on.
Bos.. Is there any way to lock the layout?
There was a feature like that before, you can lock the theme so you won't be able to edit/mess it up. But they removed it on the latest version. I don't know the reason why. It should have been good to have that kind of function.

Hi, it's a hardware. It was there together with the head unit, I just plug it in. I just ask the seller and they're the ones who put it together with my order.

how you skip songs from steering wheel
I just press the next button on my steering wheel. I have Canbus system that allows the steering wheel to control the head unit.

Hi. If you have the CWG PRO version, there's an icon generator feature which you can create icons.
@@jansen_vlog I do have the pro version, but I was hoping to use pre-made icons (with the better graphics) instead of creating icons with the plain graphics in the generator. On your regular carwebguru video, you have an Edit Widget button, which now does not appear in 3.0.1.
You can download HD icons (.png file) and save it on the "Icons" folder under Carwebguru folder.
Editing widget (Constructor) is not available on CWG version 3.0.1. You need to update your CWG to version 3.0.3 so you can edit the widgets.
