@@aeroga2383 actually the ps1 suffered from texture warping in general but it wasn't as noticeable back in the day since everyone played on CRTs which helped hide it better
That game was fun, the thing that killed me though was how the school became more and more desolate as the game went on. By the end of the game there weren't any NPCs running around because they disappeared as you finished their quests.
I remember playing this game back in the day, that voice acting and music is so memorable - this game itself is actually pretty good - those flying challengers were BRUTAL as a kid. Hope to see you play more.
let's be honest, most of us from the 'good old days' grew up and no longer watch other people play this guy's like the first commented play I've watched in 2 years
I played the fuck out of this and the Chamber of Secrets game as a kid and never for the life of me did I ever realise Jeremy Soule was the composer. That just blew my fucking mind.
Did anyone else play the PC version of this game? I remember playing it all the time as a little kid. It looked similar but played differently and the game actually seemed to follow (mostly) the book, instead of these random trials all the time.
well i think most people got PS1 back then first and then PC probably later.. At least i got my PS1 in 2000 and i got PC in like 2003. I did later on play this game on PC as well since i thought it was different but actually it was the same.
Yeah I remember the PC version of this game, I also remembered confusing the PC version of chamber of secrets with the PS2 version a lot cause I seemed to play them one after the other as a kid.
Ps1 games always had such good atmosphere. I loved the wonky graphics as a kid. As an adult, i still do for some reason. It also feels nostalgic now, so it's even better.
The music from the Harry Potter games was made by Jeremy Soule, same guy who did the music for The Elder Scrolls. Hogwarts Neutral is my favorite composition of his.
Is the first day of class to thin the herd of the weak children? Within the first 30 minutes of their compulsory wizardry education there are giant, poisonous snails and possessed books. And that's not even mentioning the Ninja Warrior-esque parkour.
I thought Nearly-headlees Nick hated his nickname and preferred to be called Sir Nicholas. He definitely not introduced himself like that - _(Dumbledore asked calmly)_
I know you're our most supreme supplier for morrowind memes, but keep posting these! I have such fond memories of watching my sister play this when I was younger, it's all so nostalgic. It's nice to see you branch out too, getting stuck playing one game with autisree comments if you don't would get old quick.
8:42 When this was released on PS1, I got it, played it and loved every minute ... except the f--king rings. I had childhood PTSD flashbacks from Superman 64 because of those rings
Yeah I'd love to see more of this. I had this game when I was a kid, and this video blew me away with nostalgia even though I don't remember anything past the flying lesson. Probably never beat this game to be honest
back then the games were very hard, and for someone who is like 7-10 years .. Most of us didn't have memory card so i was having tough time to finish it as well.
Mickey D: We have enjoyed your content since the discovery of your channel. Particularly watching someone play this PS1 game is very nostalgic. Great content, would very much enjoy maybe another video.
This was always one of my favourites, but could never find all the chocolate frog cards. Maybe I was just too scared of the suits of armor to search very thoroughly... XD
If I remember correctly the movie was far from finished when the game was being made, which is why it doesn't feature cutscenes, music or dialogue from the film.
I just discovered your channel and am so glad to see you played through this. I ADORED this game when I was a kid. I remember trying for a good hour or two to perfect the flying class
Please play more. I played this myself as a kid on the Ps1 (but in awkward Swedish of course, because... localisation...) and it’s super nostalgic watching this.
I donwloaded and completed this game in one sitting last week after only wanting to play it for 10 minutes for nostalgia, 12 am -7 am it took me ,what a game
A joke every 5 seconds is fucking annoying.
The fact that he pinned this comment is so hilarious on its own lmao
It's just how he roll my man, if you're not into it watch one of the many completed runs from 10 years ago lmao.
Yeah.. ironic how you're the one saying someone is annoying...
nah that's the content. were you just expecting a silent playthrough?
You must be fun at parties.
Morrowinds Mage's Guild is looking strange today.

I got this game for Christmas. No matter how bad it may look, it'll always hold a special place in my heart.
That's my experience with it as well. Me and my dad bonded over this game along with the ps1 version of Chamber of Secrets as well.
Perfect Christmas Day game!
I like how all the NPCs look like they had their faces flattened by getting hit with a shovel.
