Your crazy ass hell!... Let it be your child if you have one that gets killed while in Police custody before even getting his right to stand trial....Once hes in Police custody, they are responsible for his safety until he stands trial... They were guilty of more than deliberate indifference, they are murderers that got away with the crime...

Turns out, her life has been dragged into the dumps...professionally and personally..her husband lost his bid for mayor, as well as his spot on the city council (he had to give it up to run) Marilyn and the Bmore police are at complete odds(crime rate rises)..the city considers her a failure..her marriage is suffering..she and her husband were nearing the finish line for a major step into a great political dynasty (which was their dream) with Mayor and prosecutor Mosby on top of the city..its all but gone..kinda sad in the end

    • @loyaldude10

I think its appropriate, considering how overly ambitious she was, quick to capitalize on a tragedy for her own career. Her husband isn't a bad guy, but Marilyn........hopefully she loses in election next yr. there already is a formidable challenger who announced to run against her

The fact is, she see's a career in civil rights activism and not the law. How did she become a chief prosecutor anyway? Oh that's right.....it's Baltimore. : (

Some of these comments are disgusting. There was obvious gross negligence in this case, and losing a job is not a big deal compared to taking/losing someone's life. They broke his neck, his spine was severed. They ignored his request for medical attention. All 6 of them combined were not smart enough to handle this correctly and prevent this death. That is criminal if you commit to PROTECT AND SERVE the public, not just the ones with no wrap sheet and not just the ones who look like you. Its about valuing humanity.

You had agenda from day 1! Promote yourself at the expense of the death of Freddie Gray. The police detectives who investigated the death of
Freddie Gray were told that he had a history of participating in
"crash-for-cash" schemes - injuring himself in law enforcement settings
to collect settlements - but were advised by a state prosecutor not to
pursue the information, according to defense attorneys for the six
officers charged in Gray's arrest and death.
    The defense
attorneys said in a court motion Thursday that Assistant State's
Attorney Janice Bledsoe told police investigators working the case in
its early stages not to "do the defense attorneys' jobs for them" by
pursuing information they had about such schemes and evidence that Gray
"intentionally injured himself at the Baltimore City Detention Center." Shouldn't their job have involved determining what actually happened?
Why bother investigating reports that the poor victim had a history of
deliberately injuring himself around law enforcement for profit? Let's
just pretend that the evil cops deliberately wanted to hurt him, because
some of them being black, they were just that racist. This is
a ridiculous level of corruption all constructed to cover up the abuses
of a Democratic administration that decided to sign off on race riots
(Space to Destroy) in order to back Obama's destructive agenda for
    America.

A suicide is a homicide so, no, the medical examiners use of homicide does not mean it was not suicide. It seems entirely possible to me that Freddie saw a chance to get a settlement from the city, as he was known as a film glam artist, and accidentally caused his own death in the process.

  • @barrisoden
    @barrisoden 6 лет назад +4

Well I understand her intent if that's the case... my problem is that if Freddie gray case was ruled a HOMICIDE...... How can these officers not be responsible. They made too many stops rather than take him to the hospital where he eventually died at. Cuffed up and all and still suffered severe injuries not caused by self inflicted injuries. I see that many people who commented are on police officers behalf but someone is responsible for his death especially since it's a homicide ruling. And to see those officers acquitted something is definitely wrong. As far as a civil suit against her I don't think it'll make it that far but they got away and not held responsible. I guess he died for no reason just because. He woke up one day and boom his vertebrae is broken with spinal cord injuries. What a coincidence. No it's not. Injustice was definitely served in this case and I hope the families of Freddie gray get every dollar from that city and department.

It's as if you didn't watch the video. She was very clearly working towards justice for the murdered individual and striving for accountability in those who's job it is to protect and serve. She was also very clearly upset by the inadequacies inherent in the procedures despite being bound by them. Maybe if all the police officers who had handled their 'suspect' had adhered to the rules and felt as passionately about the duty their job comes with then this man would still be alive today. And frankly I think that's rather the point, somebody died as a result of negligence of police to fulfill their duties and responsibilities. While the level of guilt may be varied across those who had charges brought against them there was definite guilt.
