- UH OH! Looks like Ethan is at the Hospital again in Utgent care for an X-ray to see if he has a broken ankle. Do you remember when this happened to him years ago? We thought he had a broken bone. Come along as we talk about what happens during Ethan’s emergency hospital visit to the Urgent care for an X-Ray for a possible broken ankle bone

I just finally healed from a high ankle sprain! Get him an ASO lace up brace! It will save him a lot of pain! It really helps with the swelling! I am the queen of high ankle sprains!
In Oct of 2021, I had total ankle reconstruction surgery on my left ankle. Finally got the left ankle rehab totally done and than fell and got a hairline fracture in the right ankle! The hairline fracture did not heal correctly, so I am looking at possible ankle surgery again! I could teach Ethan what physical therapy to do to help the healing process!! LOL

Wow! That must hurt really bad! I hope he's doing okay, and wish him great recovery
When my kiddo broke his foot urgent care missed it and his elbow 😢 it happens a lot due to the initial swelling so if Ethan is still in a lot of pain in a day or two I’d get him into an orthopedic doctor
Always go to a orthopedic. Often times a break or fracture is missed, especially when it’s swollen.
I was told it was sprained then aweek went by and it was broken cuz the swelling didn't go down the bone dr said some times it looked like a sprain first then after a week a new x-ray some times needed to be done if he still can'twalk on it or if it's still swollen or he's still in pain I have a feeling it is fractured and it was brokenit hard some times to see on an exray if it's broken or fractured some times if it's that swollen in a week keep a eye on it
I pulled a muscle in my back exasizes fixed that. 4 years ago the doctor said I sprained my foot the pain is still there. I love watching your videos.

You may want to go and get a second opinion. Please go to a podiatrist and have them look at the ankle. I was in a real bad car accident and the ER told me I had a sprained ankle. After about a week or so my ankle was not getting better. Went to the podiatrist and had a MRI done. I had a torn ligament in my ankle.

If it still bothers him when the swelling goes down get a new x-ray they missed a slight fracture I had at an urgent care before. It was because the swelling they couldn’t see the fracture to the bone.
Glad it's not broke, hope he feels better today. Em is so pretty growing up fast. Thanks for the yogurt snack tip Tina I need to loose some weight I gained from hysterectomy 😮💨 I eat that yogurt all the time but never thought to do that maybe it's like icecream.

Looking at that ankle I thought it was broken also,had to laugh a little when Tina pulled out the other crutches, take care Ethan and stay off that foot.

When I broke my femur, Urgent Care missed it. They said go home and take Ibuprofen and got home couldn't move so my hubby called for an ambulance and found out I needed surgery because my femur was broken in 2. Sending prayers for Ethan.
Ouch I broken my femur before fallen down stairs like 30 steps from top of my house to bottom two years ago had two surgeries it painful for sure.
When I broke my knee urgent care missed it I walked on it for a week and found out it was broken and I had to be in a cast for e months. Feel you
@slurpy-529 Yeah, I had to have a pin to connect the two broken pieces. I couldn't put any weight on my left leg for 2 months. Our local hospital missed my hubbys broken neck after his tractor trailer rollover accident.

Oh no not good hopefully he recovers soon .I Have a broken toe, one of my kids had meltdown thrown a plate at my foot just because she could not have a treat when she already had one.
Ouch Ethan! I lived on crutches thru my teenage years, repeatedly dislocated my knee. Not fun! Hang in there.

2 trips to the ER for me in 2017 and they still missed my fracture in my foot. Took a bone scan to find it…now that was a neat test

Bet they missed the break I would go to a real hospital. Prayers he heals. I highly doubt urgent care is right. Especially if he heard a pop
I would take him to Orthopedic doctor. Urgent care is known for missing breaks.
Ethan,I went through the same thing as you except I’m broke both of my ankles and required for surgery but now I am 100% better

Aww man, that ankle is swollen.. my daughter did her ankle a goodun a while back playing laser tag! She fell into a hole both forwards and sideways (how? I dunno) and she was out of commission for about a week :-/ Just thankful it wasnt broken and she managed her dance auditions and it happened nearing the end of the school holidays

I broke my left ankle from a min bike I’m in a walking boot but I’m still on non weight
I curratly have a sore ankle/foot because somone fell and landed on my foot during a volleyball game for fun they spicked it and landed on my foot
