- Looking to avoid a 3-1 deficit the Los Angeles Clippers come up huge in what could be the biggest win in their franchise history. The Clippers were down by as many as 22 points and as much as 16 in the fourth quarter.

Yep it was much more competitive and each of the top teams where legitimate championship contenders. Not just record wise, but the actual teams and their stars.
It wasnt really getting dirty in the paint, it was more of a balanced game. Guards were guards, centers were centers, and forwards, unlike today where everybody thinks theyre a shooting guard.

The west was stacked with solid teams.. The Warriors, Clippers with CP3 & Griffen, Thunder with Durant & Westbrook, Spurs with Duncan, Tony Parker & Ginobili, Grizzlies with Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol & Mike Conley.
Time flew so fast. Even the ESPN scoreboard looked so old quickly but certainly my most favorite one.
I honestly wish they kept it the way it was. Just modern it up a bit. Of course you saw this exact scoreboard on Live 16. But it wasn't as smoove as the real one

Mother's Day 2014 was an AWESOME Day for the Clippers, especially what they had to go through with the former owner being banned for life and a NEW owner, it made me respect the Clippers a lot more

Crazy transformation. Last year's Clipper roster would never have pull this off. Great coaching from Rivers and outstanding play by Paul, Griffin, and Collison.
Wild to look back now that Reggie Jackson and Ibaka are Clippers and how the court design was different back then too...

because Doc Rivers planned to trade for his son Austin Rivers at that time and it backfired him now... they should have kept Bledsoe instead of trading for Austin Rivers... I bet if Bledsoe was there with Crawford leading the Clips bench they would have not choked away a 3-1 lead against Houston the following year

Probably the best Clipper team so far. At least this team had a great starting lineup, a bench that could score in bunches, and actually fared well against an elite team like OKC. Sure, they were much closer to winning the semis against Rockets last year, but the Rockets were more inferior (no offense) and the Clipper team of '14-'15 was also weaker on the bench end of things. Also too erratic.
