Good vid. All great games. My favourite hidden gem that I enjoy playing is Wendy Every Witch Way on GBC. It's a gravity switching puzzle platformer and well polished too. Definitely worth picking up.
Could've left off some of the brick boy games for actual Gameboy "COLOR" games. If anyone cares I reccomend Army Men 1&2. - both are mission based top down shooters. Don't want to review them in the comment section, but check them out. Both are super fun. Also check out Metal Gear Solid on GBC. The VR missions are worth it alone.
At least it wasn't in the list, just the thumbnail, but yeah he should show a hidden gem game in the thumbnail, not one the most popular Gameboy games. I wouldn't show Pókemon because wouldn't the video get less views if people saw the thumbnail and it's not even showing a game that is related to the topic of the video? (except for being a Gameboy game of course)
Nice video but you should really fact check, quite a few errors. Shantae was released one full year AFTER the GBA was released not when it was on the "horizon."
Everyone just seems to overlook TOCA Touring Car. It is by far the most realistic, best looking and most accurate racing game on the GBC. For me it is even one of the best racing games ever.Codemasters just did it right.
Legend of the River King 2 and Harvest Moon 3 are longtime favorites. Crystalis is absolutely incredible. The GBC got a really bad port, about the only thing worth remembering from the port are the default names added for the port - Simea and Mesia
the puzzles are done in an interesting way with a fun twist that most puzzle games of the day lacked. It doesn't really hold up compared to todays games but back then it was neat to see something like it.
Metroid 2 - Return of Samus, never finished it when I was a kid I have Kid Dracula cartrige. I wouldn't say it's the best game in GB library, but still its a great game. Castlevania Adventure was the scariest game of my childhood in early 90's... Nowdays I love Castlevania series music
Solar striker is not a side shooter, it's a top down shooter.
Thank You I don't see many people mention Solar Striker and it's one of my ALL TIME favorites
You mention a side-scrolling shooter but then clearly show a top-scrolling shooter.
Still, some great games on the list!
2:25 he said "side scrolling shooter" smh
hahaha, it's a Vertical Shoot em' Up (Vertical Shmup).
You know, in most top 10s, people actually say the number they're on before they start talking about it.
my favorite game is Kirby dreamland 2
and one of the "sequels" of Gargoyles Quest, Demons crest, is on SNES not NES

shantae wasnt made by capcom, was made by wayfoward :/
Roland's Curse, Trip world, Final Fantasy Adventures, Operation C, Tmnt 3 radical rescue and Avenging Spirit
Is Gargoyle's quest even obscure?
"Gonpoi Yokoi" lol
Killer instinct was pretty good too
Other than Zelda not being an RPG, this is a very nice list.
This is an inaccurate half-baked list of 'hidden gems'.
That’s a vertical shooter, kid.
Trax never gets mentioned and it's brilliant, from HAL Laboratories the team behind Kirby
"Hidden Gems"
*shows* *pokemon*

Loved Mole Mania! Wish I still had it
there is basically a copy on the bugs bunny game. its called 'Hugo' and its for the GB.
The only games I ever had as a kid were Tetras, and Skate or Die: Bad 'N Rad. But I later got Pokemon Yellow and Metroid II on my 3DS.

it literally has a GBA mode if you plug it in a GBA
What is your favorite Gameboy game? Mine besides pokemon and mario are the TMNT games
Fav games that aren't typically in top 10 lists: Adventure Island 2: Aliens in Paradise, Avenging Spirit, and Elevator Action.
my favorite is power rangers wild force I finished the game in a day
contra the alien wars on gameboy
MEGAMAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!! well that and Pokemon Red.
I remember one of the TMNT games on Gameboy being something like metriod.. That game was pretty tough too.
6:52 "One of the best Gameboy Colors ever made" *YOU MEAN GAMEBOY COLOR GAMES*
Everyone just seems to overlook TOCA Touring Car. It is by far the most realistic, best looking and most accurate racing game on the GBC. For me it is even one of the best racing games ever.Codemasters just did it right.
Bugs bunny's crazy castle.... Really?!
Legend of the River King 2 and Harvest Moon 3 are longtime favorites.

sorry had to correct you. Ducktales remastered is only a remake of the first Ducktales on NES. It does not include Ducktales 2.
6:00 what is the game called
Hammerin' Harry: Ghost Building Company. It came out in jp, aus and pal, but not in us.
Is this DSP?
wait toki tori kuchi kopi coincidence i think not
everyone always recommends mole mania i never saw what the big deal about it was other than the miyamoto involvement
the puzzles are done in an interesting way with a fun twist that most puzzle games of the day lacked. It doesn't really hold up compared to todays games but back then it was neat to see something like it.
Dude you can step closer to the mic, don't have to yell from across the room
