I managed to snag one of your 2019 babies, she is a super friendly, cuddly gecko. She's asleep on me as I type this! Friends/family thought I was crazy getting a pet gecko, but they're all in love with her now. I don't know if temperament is genetic but she is AWESOME, thanks for an amazing crestie :)
I like male cresties! My male is so much more social than my female crestie. When I open the door to change their food or water, he comes running out and greets me. My female doesn't care about me, and avoids me as much as she can. lol
Love your channel! Personally, I would expect to pay less for a frog butt as well, but that's because I couldn't care less about breeding cresties. All 4 of my males are pets only and I just don't care for the look of frog butts, all mine still have their tails, the oldest being 4 to 4 1/2 years old. Unrelated to this video but really cool news is that my oldest gecko Ember ( extreme harlequin male) who I've had for around one year, has just now gotten completely tame and will eagerly come to me to get out his cage at night! 😁 He started off very scary and always ran initially when I opened his cage but with consistent working/interacting with him he eventually would just sit there on a bar and didn't run or freak out and finally just about a week ago, he was on the side of the glass right by the door and I held out my hand for a few minutes (whew!) and he crawled on to it. Fast forward a few days and now he eagerly comes to the front to be let out as soon as he sees me lol. Out of my 4 males, 2 are very calm and always come anytime I open their tanks, one will sometimes come and other times won't and the last one wants absolutely nothing to do with me lol. Personally for me, I'm not planning on ever getting any females since I don't want to have to deal with a lay boxs or potential calcium deficiencies due to egg laying although I've heard from some breeders that females typicaly are more calm.
Can you do a video of how you can start creating morphmarket and listing your animals on sale? I think there are many subscribers who want to start gecko hobby/business like myself :)
hello sostic, i have been wanting s crestie for about four months now! but i havent gotten one yet because i am scared i am not going be a good reptile keeper. even after all my research i feel like im ready and i know so much more about them and about their living space and environment!
