In this video I said Kenyan Sand Boas are colubrids. They’re not, they’re constrictors. I should have known that, considering they’re boas.
Simple mistake. They stay smaller so it's easy to make the confusion.
Most Colubrids are constrictors, I agree with you on the giant snakes, I had boas they are nice! I had monitor lizards, they are cool but can get aggressive.
My corn snake is the only animal that has escaped, and he's escaped twice now (in my house and of course we found him quickly both times). So I completely agree with you there.
Also, unrelated - I love your background music so much. Yours are definitely the only videos I watch that make me rave in my kitchen while cooking mac and cheese. 😂

You like snakes in the family Boidae. Most colubrids like kings, bullsnakes, indago ect are contrictors.

Great video, good points and you make a lot of sense, I personally can not stand horses, but that's a story for a different day. Also, I have a chihuahua that doesnt bark or yip, though she is definitely the exception.

I expressed interest in getting a hamster not too long ago and someone immediately tried to get me to get a guinea pig.
I want an animal that needs a large tank, not half my room.
Guinea pigs are social too! They need to be in groups. So that adds on to the amount of space they’d need

That is not a snowman, that is a non-binary snow person named summer and they are not a Christmas decoration, they are a friend. Summer has been in the background for a short while now.

Centipedes are bananas lolol good one their BITE is painful I’ve gotten bit by 3 centipedes when I lived in Hawaii they’re everywhere in Hawaii make sure u tip your shoes upside down before you put your foot inside 🤙🏽🐠🤙🏽
I’ve heard that... about the shoes... in places where scorpions live. But yeah if there’s centipedes around, that makes sense.

Lol not all iguanas are aggressive. I had one once fully grown and was totally well behaved. Well except he would try to run when it was time for him to go back in his cage.

I quite liked the idea of turning things on their head; not keeping pets due to.... instead of here's what I keep.
I couldnt have another one my self. I dont have the room to dedicate to it like I used to.
Spiders and dogs, two animals I would never keep. Ughhh.

You don't want a horse? GOOD. Horses are the type of animal that you need hands on training with a professional riding/driving instructor rather than internet research. They are big animals that can take you out by complete accident.
I honestly HATED boarding at a stable. Been to three, all three have screwed me over.
First barn, all horses ((accept mine)) and barn owner disappeared. Had to get my horse out.
Second barn, barn manager didn't like that I was going down the road to my riding lessons so he had the farrier ((hoof trimmer)) fuck up my horse's feet which caused him to trip and fall on his face.
Last barn, the owner lost his marbles and drove everyone out.
You can't always trust someone else to take care of your animal properly.
Also there is face to face barn drama that is awful.
I will never board again. If I have to choose between boarding and not having a horse, I wouldn't have a horse.
Never get a horse without taking one year of lessons first just so you can get a good idea if you REALLY want to have one. A lot of people that ride don't want to own, just ride, so they lease or use lesson horses. Some people find out that they just hate horses. Never jump into them. Its not smart.

Jeremy's Wild Studio she’s asleep and buried during the day but at night, she’s on the move! It’s interesting to try and find her in the mornings because she’s usually in a whole new spot lol
Also, as the proud mom of 3 small dogs.... I get it. I LOVE MINE but they were all sort of dogs that came to me needing help.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to insult small dogs lol. I just prefer big dogs myself

Cats and dogs are the best pets. They fit in best with humans' lifestyle. Also, from my experience, big dogs bark as much as little ones.
mystique was a colubrid though wasnt she?also the yawn was adorable😊 and i see your points about your choices like iguanas..theyre interesting but ive seen ppl walking them on a leash lol how do you feel about birds though?would you want any birds?
Yes, Mystique was a colubrid. The experience of keeping her played a big part in turning me off to colubrids. She hated being handled, and every time I tried, she got away and it took me hours sometimes to contain her again.
Regarding birds, I’m on the fence. My current living situation isn’t very bird friendly, but I do like birds and might want to get into keeping them someday.
@@JeremyGoneWildPets im the owner of a dog now💜 my dog died a couple years ago and i never really got over it enough to go get another one but october 20th i found a veryyy thin abandoned dog on the side of the road..he was so hungry he was eating a dead skunk.ive been taking care of him ever since..hes so well behaved and loving.he wouldve died out there.idk how ppl abandon their pets but he has a home now and im gonna love the f**k outta him 😊❤

@@JeremyGoneWildPets yeah he was eating a skunk..he was so thin and hungry.hes sooo loving,he kept licking me and his skunk breath was so horrible lol i was like eww no please stop licking me 😊😆 but hes so sweet and doing great.im taking him to the vet on saturday to hopefully find out what breed he is,age estimation etc
