Want to make those Koi and goldfish happy? Put pea gravel on the bottom of the pond. They would love to sift through it all day and, in turn keep the bottom of the pond clean.

I used to have those white catfish, they are awesome, they get to be at least 3 feet long and anything that fits in their mouth they will eat. lol I kept putting tadpoles in my pond and they were eating them, I didn’t know. But wait it looks like a cat fish, but has a knife fish or eel like tail, so what is it? I put lighter pea rocks on the bottom of my pond, helps the fish to stand out more. Love the bass! Great job, it’s gorgeous.. your sturgeon does well in the warm water of summer?
Well mate you should wear some boots seems like you crazy just as me i used to do lots of stuff open feet but well a rock fell on one and regret it from ever since then, cheers and keep it going you inspire me.
A lot of thought and a lot of hard work has gone into this pond it’s like a natural habitat the fish will love it plus they don’t have to work hard for food it must be like a Fishy lotto win . I keep koi and most koi keepers in the UK and Europe keep sterile rectangular pools of water the Americans like the natural look and this does look great I’m definitely one day doing a natural looking pond lots of plants and goldfish
hello, congratulations for all this work and the magnificent landscape that you were able to reproduce in your garden! It is really a crazy job and a great work!!! On the other hand, with such a community of fish, you will not be able to observe all the aquatic life that your pond could spontaneously invite (reproductions of amphibians, aquatic insects, freshwater molluscs, small fish), and that is a bit too bad, don't you miss it?...
Your pond and tiny house are outstanding. Have you considered adding anything else to your pond such as crawdads or maybe a turtle or two? Also, I would be interested to know what other sort of wildlife you seen at your pond such as dragonflies frogs what type of birds anything along those lines?
