The Do-Win Weightlifting Shoes are a model that I often refer to as a tried and true lifting shoe for lifters from all walks of life.
The Do-Win Weightlifting Shoes have long been regarded as consistent in the gym and budget-friendly. I owned a pair many years ago and gave them away to a member of the TF2 community, so I was super stoked to re-buy them and publish a new review.
In my Do-Win Weightlifting Shoes review, I'll cover various topics to help you decide if this is the right pair of weightlifting shoes for you.
0:00 Do-Win Pros
2:14 Do-Win Cons
4:34 Performance
7:30 Price
7:57 Who are these best for?
8:35 Sizing and Fit
9:27 Weight, Heel Height, and Insole
9:47 Construction
11:57 Final Thoughts
Across the board, the Do-Win Weightlifting Shoes have once again delivered a consistent and understated performance.
For $105 (often $95), this model has a solid construction and for recreational lifters, they should fit the bill well for squats, weightlifting, and other exercises.
There are a few subtle cons that I have with this shoe, but from a performance point of view, this model did a pretty good job throughout my tests.

Thank you Jake! Just what I was waiting for 👍🏽
Let’s gooo!
Great description
This was a great review, thanks for making this video 👞👍
Thank you for checking it and sharing feedback 💪
Also good point about these being true to size. I listened to Rogue's rec and ended up trying to stretch mine out with shoe trees.
I thought that was super odd, too. My old pair fit big, so it’s def a new iteration out now, IMO!
Great review, I'm gonna get a pair. Thanks!
Hell yeah!
You’re review sealed the deal for me. I’m 68 yo, and have been squatting for 5 years. Like many, I struggle with depth on the squat. I tried my heels on a 5lb and got level with ease. So, first try with a raised heel made sense and between the heel lift and price, seems like a good fit 😂.
Awesome! Hope you like them. Keep me posted on how they work for you!
Great review!
Thank you 💪
Great video!
Thank you!
In re: sizing: Neutral. A little wider than the Adipower III and a bit wider throughout the end of the toe box compared to the Reebok models (leg lifter 2, lifter pr 2).
They are a clone of the Romaleos 2. very similar feel, although not as good a build quality
Hey Jake amazing review as always... Please review Anta Weightlifting shoes, worn by Chinese Olympic Weightlifting Champions 🙏🏻
I have them on my to-do! They're tough to find here in the states, will keep looking!
@thatfitfriend Reason being that Anta makes the shoes specifically for China's Olympic team. That level of speciality makes them very hard to get, and very expensive.
Haha even though these won't be available in India it's great too see Jake to review it! ❤️
Thank you 💪
Thanks Jake, thoughts on these vs the Do Win Classic lifters? Maybe a video?
Soon! I'm testing the Classic lifters atm...tbh, I do not like. They're stiff AF and it took forever to break the toe box in.
@@thatfitfriend haha awesome! Good to know, will be on the lookout for the video!
I just had to ship these back today, i had these for 5 days and they were waaay to tight ive been using the adidas powerlifter III’s and these do-wins made my feet start to blister and I ordered them true to size
Powerlift IIIs width work for ya?
Yeah, idk what Do-Win did with this model's last, but they've kind of ruined it regarding its fit for some athletes.
Yooooooo I recommend this! So sickkk
Another thing about this shoe - because the front is really bendy and the heel height is great as it’s low-ish, It can be a great alternative to strongman stuff and you don’t really need to switch them out much. Both outside and inside is great. They have a more general purpose feel with a low plastic heel. Just go true to size lmao
Let’s goooo! Thanks for adding insights and experiences, helps add depth to these reviews 💪
Just ordered these
Let me know how you like them!
I've been super curious about getting another pair of weight lifting shoes. And for this price.... 🥰
Love us some sub $100 shoes!
@@thatfitfriend when the price is right lol
Hey jake do you recommend these or the adidas powerlift?
Both models are solid. I like the Powerlift 5 a bit more, though, and if you can find a good deal on the Power 3, 4, or 5, I'd go with one of those!
Hey I’m think I’m going to get some cross training shoes, what would be better the haze trainers or the nano x2?
Haze would be my first pick if the price isn't a major turnoff!
@@thatfitfriend ok thanks!
@@thatfitfriend hey do you think there would be any shoes better to buy then the haze trainers?
How would you say this compares to the Legacy Lifter 2s? I'm deciding if I want to try a higher heel height compared to the Adidas Powerlift 4 and I'm looking at both of these right now.
They're okay. Both will perform well for you, but I'm a bigger fan of the Legacy Lifter II as they feel better built, quality-wise and tend to last a while!
@@thatfitfriend thank you for the quick answer man
@@asu67 Low-key I was actually slower than normal with this one. Been a littttttle burnt out this week so I took a day off from replying, but you're welcome, brody!
Hey Jake, I've been using metcon 6 and i'm thinking to get this one as a new one. And i only do squat. Is it good?
Yeah, it should work for you! They'll last you a while, too, if you're only using them for squats each week.
What size do you recomend me to use?
I'm currently wearing nike metcon 6 EU 43.
@@hendrasantoso4925 go TTS here, so 43 as well.
Another shoe that went narrower 😒 the version I have from 2013 is the widest weightlifting shoe I own. If it wasn't for the toe raise issue, I would have permanently kept using these.
I gave my older model away during one of my last moves 😅 kicking myself now
Why does your heel lift in it during squats though? Usually a good oly shoe would help you keep your heel down right?
Partially my mobility for the day when I filmed clips for these and partially the rock of the shoe. Not the biggest deal, tbh.
@@thatfitfriend I was worried that they shoe adds a rock in there when you are trying to stay flat on a heavy squat?
@@dyloak6450 it does have a bit of rock in this new iteration, tbh. I’m not the biggest fan of the midsole/last in this shoe! Think you could find better options for that context
Can you review The Rock and UFC collab show?
Heyo! Are you talking about the BSR 2 collab?
Would you recommend for newbie oly lifter?
Yeah, or the Reebok Lifter PR II or III. All solid options!
👍
I just got one. My only dislike is that the soles aren't flexible.
Yeah, these puppies run a bit stiff but that’s standard with lifting shoes! First pair of lifters??
@@thatfitfriend my first one is a Metcon. I still have it. That one is flexible.
