It's not possible for there to be double stacks in Sydney I'm afraid. Unless they remove every bridge in Sydney or along the Melbourne - Brisbane rail link. Double stacks would be too high. Although they do have double stacks between Adelaide - Perth - Adelaide and Adelaide - Darwin - Adelaide because it's basically desert. They are making a new Melbourne - Brisbane rail link that doesn't cut through Sydney and is able to have double stacks.
cityraildude the intermodal freight trains don’t go through the metropolitan area of Adelaide. Please correct me if I’m wrong as i live in the Illawarra. There are big freight yards in Adelaide and the trans Australian Rail link goes through there. The double stacks only come a little bit after Adelaide so trains coming from Melbourne would stop into the yard and get double stacks. There is one high bridge on the Adelaide to Perth this rail link and that’s it. Theres no overhead wiring or bridges along the desert and the Nullarbor plain
Sydney Trains Vlogs I like the idea of making a little mini-series to go with your channel. Is there a way of finding out where freight trains go and what time they go past stations?
Why did you put these in a compilation and deleted the stand alone ones in your AFW channel? And will you do the same thing to the other episodes as well?
Yes I understand that you guys tend to like commenting first or something, but it's not that necessary to make comments like "1st reply!" or something. This is not a competition of who comments first. I'm not being rude or whatever, you can still do it, but like I said, it's not that necessary to do it.
Hey Phil, would it be possible to have double stacks running in Sydney?

A 42 Hit the buffers at speed at Richmond.

Waratah A42, the modern Sydney Trains Fleet, was crashed into the buffer at the end of Richmond station (terminus).

I just need the 1 train channel.
All other episodes will receive the same treatment.
Same with Australian Railway TV
I agree. I don't feel there is any need for multiple train channels. Perhaps make an explanation video on your other channel.
So apparently you're going to delete your other two channels, is that right?
1st?
..Just saying, Jesus christ. Don't be so rude you salty grandma
