- This 30 minutes video shows rail traffic in Frankfurt (Main) Süd Bahnhof. In this railway station, at Frankfurt south region, several railway lines are crossed. It is the encounter of lines from several directions. This is the reason why a huge number of different types of trains appear in this station.
All types of high-speed ICE trains could be seen here. Also, all the other trains like IC trains, Regional trains (Regional Bahn), local city S Bahn trains and many other types of private and state rail operators. There are many freight trains passing through this station. All this makes this railway station very interesting.

German railways and their luxury trains are excellent in my experience. I have gone several times and I am very satisfied with their services. Pleasant conductors who always smile at the passengers. The train crew comes to clean the carriages during the journey and the service in the refreshments is better than some airlines. Riding such trains is a very positive experience. Many foreign countries could learn from them.

My fellow Americans...they're called trains...they're awesome...most clean electrically powered...we better wake up here in the usa...freeways are parking lots...beat up and pot holed...cars cost thousands to gas and maintenance...the hi speed ICE German trains are incredible!!!
I’d also love to admire they are still running trains from the 80s and we retire some locos in under 20 years

@@comporrle2149 in theori , ice 1 could do it aswell ...but its standard 14 cars , ice 2 has 2 sets ...but they could also in theori make 1 long train , with 1 engine+car ..its just that ice 2 is designed a bit different on the back ,kinda how everyone knows (thoose who have a clue) that it is a ice2 ...and not 1

Great video, I really enjoyed it. Beautiful clear images of one of the best railway networks in the world, in my opinion. I miss riding the DB rails. I lived in Mainz Germany for 5 years and they have a wonderful hauptbahnhof with activity all day. I use to ride the trains almost daily. Again great video.

For your next visit I recommend you the railroad crossing Oeserstraße in Frankfurt-Nied. It is the last railroad crossing in Frankfurt which is manual controlled. And there are many trains during the whole day.
Thank you! About a dozen years ago I was at a similar level crossing in Eddersheim. Thanks for the recommendation, it is interesting crossing with a road intersection. Not exactly from Frankfurt, but I'm planning to publish some rail videos from the Rhine Valley soon.

4k resolution problems is present in long cabview videos. The only solution to this problem is a long wait.

me too. no check ins no check outs, just take your bags and buy the thicket. and you don need to burnt 50 tonnes of fuel to cross two countries...even so they need improvements, rails should be straight lines, in some countries they make a lot of curves, means less security and velocity.

I visited Frankfurt last in 2007. Stayed at the Main Hbf most of the day. More than 750 passenger trains came through the Hbf. Vey enjoyable. Love riding ICE.
