I love the Sister Holiday series, I don't think they get enough love. It made me realize I love mysteries but the reason I don't read them more often is because the cops are always the good guys. Margot Douaihy really said "ACAB" with these books. I cannot WAIT for book three, I heard it's going to be earth themed. (Also I THINK it's pronounced like "do-WHY-hee"? That's how I've been saying it, at least lol.)
1) I read Siren Queen on your recommendation and LOVED IT 2) what you choose to read and spend your time on is so indicative of your values and intelligence, I’m always so excited to see what you’re interested in and engaging with, it inspires me to dig more into topics I’m interested in too 😌
Have you read the Mindf*ck Series? I haven't finished it yet but I read the first 2 and they were really good! It's about a woman who had something really bad happen to her when she was like 16 I think? and you don't know exactly what happened but you know someone else died and the FMC had some really fucked up stuff happen to her. So she has this list of everyone who was involved and 10 years later she starts killing them off one by one every month. But then she gets involved with an FBI profiler and its like ok girl... acab, but the romance adds tension for the plot lmao and the revenge on horrible men is just so good. I mostly read sapphic books but I still really enjoyed this! It ended on such good cliffhangers! It felt like the end of a really good ep of a tv show each book!
Sunny! Do you have a video where you reccomend informative nonfiction books? I’ve tried looking but can’t find one but I wasn’t sure if I maybe overlooked it! I’m wanting to read more on important worldly topics but it’s so hard to know where to start when you don’t know
Women who murders men (one of them being a rapist)- “a certain hunger” by Chelsea Summers! I didn’t end up loving it, but it was a truly unhinged main character!
Listen to this I read a book about a Black African serial killer and I loved it. Here it is “My Sister, the Serial Killer” by Oyinkan Braithwaite. Please check it out y’all 😂❤
have you read 'they never learn'? it's giving dark academia & the main character is a lesbian. it's what promising young woman tried to be. (sorry lol this comment is days late. i'm finishing the video)
you had me at 'female serial killer thrillers'. i'm sat
