- This video is about rescuing seizure little kitten. This event was shocking me and also giving me some new knowledge about cats. Apparently, the kitten got heat stroke which the condition that i just knew during this rescue.
This channel is about my cats who lived in my home. They are Tommy (14 years old), Simba (8 years old) and Jimmy (1 year old) and also other stray cats that roaming around my neighborhood. You will find drama and funny stuff about cats in this channel.

I'm actually REALLY surprised to see so many people that didn't know cats had seizures too. Any animal with a brain can have a seizure as it is just the misfire of the brain's "electrical system" so to speak. So your video is educational not only because it teaches people that cats have seizures, but also because it actually shows what a cat having a seizure looks like. Great job handling everything and so amazing of you to take these kitties and their mama in. What an AWESOME person you are!

My friend had a cat with some sort of neurological disorder and it had a seizure in my lap while I was playing with it. It was scary.
It’s still so sad to see them like that though. In so much pain & don’t know what’s happening at the moment. Fortunately it doesn’t seem to shorten their lifespans (but of course it depends on the kind of seizure)
I had a cat which suffered from several seizures before she died. It was sad.
My first cat Tyger developed auditory induced seizures late in life. I discovered it one day by accident and was terrified. I held him as he spasmed uncontrollably for about a minute. Afterwards he was shaking and breathing hard and I was terrified.
I later discovered that short, ticking noises such as a clicker, or using your tongue to make a 'ticking' noise would at first cause a short muscle spasm, as if you'd startled him. But it wasn't that he was startled. Repeated noise in quick succession would induce the seizure.
A vet could never explain how this reaction developed, only tell me to avoid that (duh!).

I am so glad that the little kitty is well again, poor little Baby. I have had sun stroke myself and it is just awful, I felt so bad. This little guy must have really suffered. Thank you for taking care of him. So sweet seeing him with his family, playing again.🙏🥰😺🐾💚💙☘💟🐱
In that event, i just knew about sun stroke that's why i'm so shocked. No worries, i just did it spontaneously to help the kitten.. i hope you stay healthy 🙏
I am very susceptible to it. I have to wear a hat that actually has a wrap of ice around it.

@kim Vuong Probably only left him out there for views. The kitten was only seizing and experiencing other issues because they left it outside in the hot sun.
I kept thinking in my head "DON'T TELL ME THAT LITTLE KITTEN PASSED AWAY!" each time the little guy was motionless. My heart couldn't take it if he that little baby died. Thank you, and your mom for helping to keep him alive.
This person intentionally left them out in the hot sun. It should be common knowledge not to let an animal with a coat of fur outside in the sun for too long.

I learned in a Kitten Lady video that kittens don't naturally regulate their body temperature when they're that young, so they are more susceptible to temperature-related illnesses. She always talked about them getting too cold, but it seems that being too warm would occur as well!
I believe it's old enough to regulate body temp.
Yeah, even I was thinking about that. Because she also said that kittens don't really do much except going to a heat source and sleeping

One of my girls started out life with seizures. It was a long hard road. When I got her spayed, the seizures stopped. She is 9 years old and is healthy again.

Oddly enough being neutered can trigger seizures in males. Some claim they need to have preexisting conditions though.

Thanks a lot! My cat's been having seizures(for a very brief period like 3-5seconds) and I didn't know it's a seizure because I haven't seen a cat's seizure before. Also because of this video I think i now know what's been the cause. The room where the kittens are kept(two of them and they are blind so I can't let them out just anywhere) it gets quite hot during the day because of the roof being pretty low and they are kept on my bed, so that's a down side as well. I'll shift their place to some cold place and on the floor as well. Thanks a lot! Because of this strict lockdown I'm not able to go to the vet.

@@TommyandFamily The one that suffers from seizures haven't shown any signs yet(not one's that I'm aware of) after I move them to a colder room during the daytime.
I think its also caused by heat stroke. Just keep monitoring ur cat 2-3 days onwards.. hope there's nothing to worry about

I've had heat stroke with a kidney infection which stemmed from strep throat, which I thought was just a viral sore throat at the time. I was violently shivering before bed and wrapped myself in many layers and duvets as I was just so cold. Admittedly, with the back pain and how shitty I felt, I thought I might die in my sleep, couldn't be bothered to call an ambulance and get treated at 2/3am. When I awoke I felt unwell. That lightheaded nauseas feeling. I didn't feel hot, I just wasn't cold anymore. Needed to pee, so went to get out of bed, and collapsed. Legs couldn't support my weight. In trying to push myself back up with my hands, I then was fully on the ground. The panic was there, but I just felt so weak, confused, dizzy and disorientated. I'm really glad I didn't live alone at that time.
My mum called the non emergency number and they suggested that wrapping myself up with a high fever had caused heat stroke. Took paracetamol and placed ice on wrists and neck. After an hour I could at least crawl. Anti-biotics later that day with doc visit.
