You know, I really feel bad for Elizabeth and it explains a whole lot about her character watching these earlier clips. She wanted so badly to be loved, noticed, and to be perfect because everyone else compared her to perfect Sarah, and then, when people like lucky would tell her how perfect she was, I don’t think she could really handle that. Even in later years when Lucky tried to tell her she was perfect, she even said “nobody’s perfect “and then when everyone would accuse her of acting like she’s perfect, she won’t say anything, because I don’t think she believes that she’s perfect because of the mistakes she’s made. I loved Elizabeth and Audrey’s conversation.
i agree...liz wouldnt have been raped if lucky took her to the dance...however as messed up as it is, i do believe the rape incident brought liz and lucky more closer and intimate together....they developed a beautiful romance that will forever be remembered as the greatest teen romance in the 90's.
Radz7 very true; lucky helping Elizabeth dealing with the rape and seeing that transform Elizabeth into a whole person thanks to Luckys help did lead to a great love story and I think that’s why years later when they both hurt each other, it hurt many other fans so badly.
I'm glad Liz isn't dating the invisible man anymore. :) Liz is so excited! Oh oh Liz you should have been more clear to Lucky that you wanted the dance to be a date!
atomicginger me too; I loved the snarky, funny, feisty Elizabeth. She was so independent and could handle her own. It’s too bad now they write her as this little mealymouth person who can’t even fire back when people like Sam or even Carly make their comments about her life and who she chooses to marry.
ghfan51184 even though I’m not a Liz’s fan but she was good a giving shade where Sam’s were concern but when it came to Carly she would just back down, which I don’t why. The only person who would call Carly on her stuff and not back down was Robin. Then Sam came into the picture and Carly really met her match.

Lovin' Sugar Ray in the backround...plus the look on Liz's face when she leaves.
Wow Sarah asked Lucky to the dance even though she was into Nikolas. I actually felt Liz’s excitement but man Sarah is going to burst that bubble.
Gh has changed soooooo much. I miss these days!

Isn't it ironic how disappointment and doorbell start with the same letter?
