I’m so happy yall didn’t get weather! I liked going along on the adventure and I hope to run into you on the trial someday so I can try Marcy’s cooking 😉 Great video!!
Gas? People swear by the predator generators from harbor freight. Another option for your toothbrush is a UV light case. Nice fire pit. Drunk James though sober James wanted a solo stove. LoL
@@michaelmacdonald7342 that Jimmy is a beast and the driver taught me all I know about offroading. Good call on the peroxide as well. I'll never get that kind of poisoning again!
Love the video!!! I love the small campsite you came to about 25:00 minutes into the video. That's known as"Charlie's Creek". I have camped there many times!! As long as you can deal with occasional traffic it's a great spot. A few minutes up the trail it crosses the Tallulah River with a water crossing. At certain times of the year the river can be flowing pretty briskly!!! As long as you stay to the right going north or the left going south you should be fine. It averages about a foot in depth, but I have seen it 2 feet at times!!! Thank you for your video, I am now a subscriber!!!! By the way, I have a 1998 Jeep wrangler with a 4.0 with 31.5 inch tires and have made that trek many times!!!
@jeffbair9069 Wow thank you so much for watching and subscribing! It was a great trip and I wish we could have called at that spot but there will be other times. Thank you for the tip on the campsite and hopefully we will see you out there one day!
That’s the perfect description of Helen, GA. That’s about it too. Don’t go in the off season though it is pretty during December with all the lights. I stumbled across this video as I’ve been researching the GA Traverse and hope that my wife and I can make the trip one day soon in my 2004 Ram 1500. It’s fairly stock so I know there will be some struggles but it’ll add to the fun. Thanks for a good guidance video as we plan to go AL to SC like y’all did. Just subscribed to keep up with your next adventures.
That's awesome! Thank you for watching and for subscribing! I'm glad we were able to help out. I hope your trip.goes well. Let me know what your experience was.
@@DixieOverland you’re welcome! I’ve been wanting to try overlanding but with 3 kids under 3, camping will be a little more difficult. 😅 that’s why my wife and I plan to do this alone soon. I’ll update and maybe try to make my own video when we get to go.
Awesome video and the Georgia Traverse is a great ride. I didn’t notice any footage of the Cohutta Big Frog Wilderness Loop which is part of the Traverse, so if you guys didn’t do that part go check it out, it’s a nice ride with some great camping in the middle of nowhere.
I recognize alot of those areas haha. also helpful tip from someone that is guilty of the same pan record 1/4 as fast as you think you should haha. solid editing though!
@@mikkovahanikkila5903 yeah apparently during the breakdown we discovered a whole host of issues that the previous owner had buggered up. Thank you for watching!

Lol figured you might!

Me too! We were fortunate it didn't get too bad where we were. You're going to love her cooking when that does happen!
Great vid!! We need more Ron!
Thanks! I'm sure he will be featured many more times!

Lol if I got a quiet one yes...good option for the toothbrush as well. Need to look into that. The solo-ish stove is honestly where it's at!
I am a Jeep guy but I love that old Jimmy, looked like a great trip, my wife and I do the peroxide thing even at home.
