- A herd of elephants avoid a crocodile basking in the sun. The elephants get a surprise as they walk around the corner, where a crocodile lies waiting with its mouth open toward the sun. The crocodile eventually enters the water the elephant drinks from.

Got to love the Elephant.
Big hose for drinking and eating low and high. Big ears to hear close up and far away and use as air conditioning lol and big tusks to dig stuff up, move stuff or protect themselves and a big enough body to store water and food etc for a while. Lovely animals, God was being cautious, making a survivor with a big heart.

If only they had better eyesight! They HAVE to be able to handle anything, because they so often stumble into trouble!
They were intimidate that's why they went around and the last elephant was going to go around too he backed up until the Croc left.

Elephants are usually unreasonably scared of animals they'd so easily crush. Even humans can make a massive Elephant backtrack by acting confident

A crocodile in the sun isn’t able to do much. I’ve seen young impala walking around them on this channel, so I did some research.

They still dangerous on land. Don't you see the elephants avoiding it? (but the elephants know they can kill it if comes to blow, it's just that the crocodiles are capable of chomping on their trunks or tails, and it's a nuisance to get them off).
@@jannetteberends8730 you mean body temperature regulation, crocodilians do it most because of their slow metabolism, and to ofcourse regulate their body temp

They do this to avoid overheating!
