I want to thank the makers of this video for one thing. You stated that chimpanzees aren't monkeys. They are apes. You have no idea how many people get this wrong.
I'm proud to see that people who try to make this planet a better place to live work on themselves. By the way, great content and presentation. The language that is used in such videos must be simple like this one. Break a leg, team! 😊
In the description of the different monkeys there's one or two short sequences of the talked-about species, and the rest of the pics all show different macaque types. AI glitch here?
Back in the mid 60’s my dad purchased a squirrel monkey from the back of a comic book for around $16. It arrived in a small crate from FL. Those days are long gone!
I had a squirrel monkey i got from the pet store in 1970. He was never a problem. Never threw poop, never scented anything and did not cost me a penny in vet bills. I was 16 when I bought him. Only cost $39.95 back then and 45 bucks for a big cage. Was the best pet ever.

Monkeys are wild animals and should never be kept as "pets"!
Just subscribed glad I found it. Great video thanks for sharing this.👍
I’m glad this video did more to dissuade people from seeking out monkeys and apes to keep as pets in their home.

They shouldn't be isolated from their own kind! They shouldn't ever be pets. It's mentally emotionally cruel!!
