As stated on their website, "Our work is based on the OV-10 Bronco from "Musée Européen de l'Aviation de Chasse" located in Montélimar, France". It is now registered F-AZKM (whose actual livery is the two-tone Desert Marines camouflage available in azurpoly's package). It's a former German aircraft, hence the 99+24 markings. We have the chance to see it regularly at airshows in France.
I figured it was that one.
To save other people having to look it up, the curious place north of Lompoc at 29:10 is the Emergency Vehicle Training Course of Allan Hancock College. Considering what happened with this flight just after that, I think those emergency vehicles got some bonus training experience.
TURN BATT ON AND #1 INVERTER when possible go to #2 inverter in flight This from an old crew chief on these in korea 78-79
Thanks for another great review! I too found it goes into a sudden violent stall if you get too slow. Otherwise I love it!
Brilliant corkscrew to land - your services have saved many a pilot watching this from the same fate, I'm sure - this does look like a nap of the earth beauty for my stable - brilliant as always.
Totally intentional XD
This looks really fun!
one of my favorite planes
Love these videos! Give us a good idea on what to buy and what not to buy :D
The avionics button sound issue sounds like a bug. Hopefully you'll let AP know. Great review as always.
AvAngel: releases a video
Me: Fullscreen + tea + toast n jam sandwiches
Another GREAT review, Thumbs up given! Thank you for the stall/spin demo 😁She sure gets a little squirrelly when you let her get too slow.
One correction: At 0:50 you mention it has piston engines. Unless you were reading the specs of a prototype or one-off model I'm pretty sure the Broncos had turbo-props, specificallyTwo Garrett-AiResearch T76s of 715 shaft hp each.
Slip of the tongue, I do mention the Garrets at some point.

Just make sure your inverter is on before you start engines ,That powers all AC pwd systems / attitude indicator , torque,egt...etc. You flying is great . Dont know if its covered in the fltight sim checklist or not. Worked on this bird in USAF 75-79 Thats why they are still using it today. Have fun Angel
I can't understand why AP felt they needed to replicate someone's terrible caulking job on the cockpit glass, it certainly detracts from the stellar visibility this aircraft should have.
Completely agree.
Don't feel bad; it happened just the same on me when I tried to land the Bronco the very first time. The only thing is I didn't hear the stall warning buzz this time. In my case it sounded, but I didn't pay attention well!
Seems you skipped over a checklist item: "Instruments Power: INVERTER 1" ... explains why your attitude indicator & temp indicators (among others, I suspect) were inoperative during the flight. Intentionally testing a failure mode, I'm sure ... 😉👍
Also appears you left the master battery switch off (left fwd console, beside the generator switches) which explains the glitches you had, which went away when you turned a generator on. How you were able to start engines with no electrical power (battery master off) is curious & something I have to try to repeat given time (maybe a OV-10B thing, as it's the only version with those battery disconnect switches on the right hand console).
Want this plane NoW!!!!!
so the Bronco is capable of weed waking too.... you just love to trim those bushes lol..... seems like a fun machine must try one.... have fun.... slightly disappointed you didn't eject the cat... lol
Will you be reviewing the Beekay Sunderland? and all the extras. Thanks X
Yes
On my short list to buy! But i need it on orbx or JF first...
Same, I hate buying from the Marketplace.
I think it's pretty convinient for updates, especially with the weps added back after.
I agree. I won't purchase anything from marketplace again.
Did you have trouble binding the throttles in your bravo? Or is it just me?
Not me, these throttles are click through to two separate ranges... they have a ground range and you have to move them OVER to flight.
@@AvAngel ??? 😐
Ahhh? Got it!! It took a bit for my 80-year-old brain to kick in. It's an odd way to do things though.
cockpit reminds me of a baby a10
The w hole flight witout eng tem guages and torque guages ...inst pwr will cure this. We had a major who had the same problem he finally caught it before leaving the chocks
I see some weapons here, can You actually use them?
Civilian sim so no
This plane is unforgiving when you get too slow!
This I discovered!
INST PWR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did turn that on … that’s when the engined suddenly had sound, weirdly so

I'm sorry but the constant stuttering throughout this video makes it unwatchable.
Less rambling talk and more getting on with it. We are here to hear details about the aircraft being presented and then see the flight and performance details and handling. Since were watching a video there is no need to narrate each and every tiny action. "Okay the spot to click to close the door is right here, I am closing the door" "The door is now closed, Lets see if the back seat door is the same way and has a button in the same place to close it" No man to much rambling my god. Get on with the point of the video.
That is the point of the video... a first look. You don't like it there are other channels. I'm not doing a two minute boom done.
