American Fugitive on Switch - New Patch, any improvements?

- A new patch has dropped for American Fugitive on the Nintendo Switch. Does this update bring about any improvements to my own personal grievances with the game? Let's find out!!

One of the developers here. There's some good points raised in the video. That patch has no changes to police response, but we're working on that next and we'll look into the issues raised here. We're also still working on Switch performance. We've been making gains, but there's still more to be done.

I was on the fence about getting this game, but this was such an earnest response to a critical review that I'm super happy to support you guys. Good job communicating with your audience and looking to improve in areas you've faltered. Buying it in the eshop now. :)
Make it harder when its 5 stars please
There should be a minimap with red blue dots(cop cars) driving around that turn red when they chase you ... That would make it a lot more predictable

There is red Mark's for the cops I just got the game a few days ago in love it I'm also on ps4 though
It was meh at first but the more i played it the more i liked it.

Was there an update that makes it stupid hard to lose the police? Those pigs are absolutely everywhere... and I've destroyed every gta game ever.
There was a new update I downloaded yesterday, maybe you can review?
Was really close to buying this game but seeing how annoying the police response is I'll go ahead and hold back. Huge turn off from gta5 online, couldn't so much as breath without being surrounded and gunned down with laser precision so im good on that. Thanks for the review!

As our Game Director, Joe, said in an earlier comment, we are currently looking at Switch performance and stability, as well as adjustments to the police response. Watch this space, and thanks for your interest in the game!

No problem! It’s interesting from a gameplay development point of view if the quick police spawning is a deliberate gameplay choice. It seems some reviewers didn’t necessarily pick up on it or mind it, yet others like me found it annoying. Is that something you’d take a poll on internally about changing or would it be more like “this is how it was designed to work so that’s how it stays”? Thanks for keeping us updated, appreciated!!
@@SwitchedOn At one stage during development, the police took ages to respond. so we made them spawn much closer. We over compensated though, as it's really obvious to players such as yourself. I think it's just a matter of balancing the spawn distance, maybe adding in more variation to the distance.

If you like the look of it then go for it - personally I dont like the AI by the devs have specifically said they are working on it to fix it, so take a chance whilst its cheap!
I regret buying this even if did get it on the switch sale. Missions are boring uninteresting fetch quests. i don't like how the police spawn right in front of you when you commit a crime then can outrun them very easily even if 5 stars
Exactly my thoughts on it Tony. A patch is being worked on which may fix the police issue, so dont give up!
@@SwitchedOn ending is true can just outrun them on foot they seem to run after you at half your speed lol
