  • THE NAKED GUN 2½ is OUTRAGEOUS! In a good way! This is Kacee's first time watching reaction to the movie The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear (1991). Lt. Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) returns for more madcap high jinks in this police-procedural spoof. Powerful energy corporations are intent on putting a halt to the eco-friendly plans of Dr. Albert S. Meinheimer (Richard Griffiths), the new U.S. energy czar. They scheme to replace Meinheimer with an imposter who will do their bidding. Unfortunately for them, Drebin gets tangled up with their plans while trying to steal back his ex (Priscilla Presley) from her slimy new beau (Robert Goulet).

So the same directors also filmed Scary Movie 3 many years later, hence why the legendary Leslie Neilson appeared in them as the president - I think its the funniest out of all of them.
Brilliant humour, more than just slapstick, very smart writing and plenty to keep all entertained. It is literally hard to catch your breath when watching the naked gun films the first time.

Also Zsa Zsa Gabor hitting the police car was based on an incident she had with a police officer around that time.
Also, the imposter was said to be an "arts consultant for Jesse Helms". Jesse Helms was an extremely right wing (and extremely racist) senator from North Carolina at the time. I think it's supposed to emphasize that the Professor's doppelganger is a really shady dude.

Obviously you never seen Ghost if you didn't recognize the pottery scene.

@24:30 Clearly you've never seen "Ghost" with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore 😂

21:50 I've watched this so many times and I just caught that it's a silencer on a revolver, which is basically pointless.

Man, seeing that Whataburger cup makes me hungry for a #1 with cheese, even if they aren’t owned by a Texas company anymore.
You should watch “The Sheep Man” with Leslie Nielsen as the bad guy. Glenn Ford, a huge star in cowboy films, is the protagonist. It’s a great movie, and pretty funny as well.

Gotta admit, that they did recycle a few ideas here in 2.50. But I am pretty sure, that there is lots of new funny crap happening in 33.333...
And how come, I already forgot about that singing-in-the-shower scene?! 🚿 That is such a lovely piece
