I don't understand who or what decides a song's difficulty. Some songs people say are easy I feel I can't sing, and the reverse. Like can anyone sing Mel C "That's who I am"? She sings it so well but something about the scale or arrangement (sorry I'm no professional musician) like it's the worst for me, but maybe it's easy for some???

She sounds great. I was privileged to see Jefferson Starship at 16 years old at Stanford University football field when this album was released. I saw Micky sing again 10 years ago at Santa Cruz beach board walk. He sounded exactly the same. Amazing singer. Simply amazing.

I've never had one lesson with him myself... Like he says in his course everything you need is there and more. The forums are very helpful too if you do get stuck. All you have to do is take your time..pay attention to the instructions and monitor yourself with your progress. Don't plough through the volumes... Get them right then move on. There is no rush. It's the best money I've ever spent on myself. I practice the volumes around 2 hours or more a day and very rarely miss a day. You will see results pretty fast if you put that time in.
Yep I totally believe that Ken. The improvements are mind blowing already. If I hadn't invested in this course I would have had pretty much no voice left at all and that's the gods honest truth. My voice was slowly deteriorating because of bad techniques. I am not afraid to admit that. I have been singing in pubs and clubs for a good few years and always had a fair bit of praise but I knew deep down something wasn't right. It's all happened at the right time for me and I'm forever thankful. Onwards and upwards. Thanks so much
This song was released in '79 in my first years of college. But I remember this even more between '80 and '83. I took many a road trip between Houston and Jacksonville NC. I was serving Uncle Sam at the time. This was back when FM radio was worth listening to. How many times I heard "Jane" in rotation between TX and NC on multiple FM dials I cannot count. That was real radio back then. FM quality on a good auto system, the open road, pure bliss. Jane interspersed with Maiden's "Flight of the Icarus," then The Police "Roxanne," followed by Judas Priest. That was life! And at any moment, someone could push the button. There was an evil empire back then. (actually 2, in further retrospect competing against each other, but another discussion). Most people made a good living. Gasoline was plentiful and affordable. The food just seemed to taste better. Perhaps we can get back there in some respects, with the best elements of this present century .. That's an idea for Gabby. Perhaps a Maiden or Priest song?
