1996-2007 Ford Taurus Inner Outer Tie Rod Replacement

1996-2007 Ford Taurus inner outer tie rod replacement....it's the same for the 2000-2005 Mercury Sable.
Parts you will need for the replacement:
- Inner tie rod
- bellows boot with straps
- inner tie rod tool with 1 5/16" crows foot
- outer tie rod
- tape
- outer tie rod removal tool
- Long wire pliers
Instructions for removal and installation:
1. Remove wheel
2. Remove outer tie rod
3. Remove bellows boot
4. Break loose inner tie rod
5. Remove inner tie rod and install new inner tie rod
6. Be sure to apply blue thread lock to threads before installation
7. Reinstall bellows boot....align air vent tube if the vehicle has one.
8. Attach bellows boot clamp
9. Install outer tie rod
10. Have the front end aligned
Torque inner tie rod to 74 ft/lbs
Torque outer tie rod to 41 ft/lbs
Torque wheel nuts to 95 ft/lbs

Looks really easy to do Jeff , I watched one other video and the guy said to just tighten up the inner tie rod until its snug ?

That inner tie rod tool is $60 at my local harbor freight im surprised yours was only $25
