Kudos! Finally got my guitar/video studio (semi) sorted in a good spot out of the basement (where we've been dodging water issues for years). Having a clearly delineated space for such endeavors is essential, no matter where you can carve out a little space.
I’m a huge Nathan fielder fan. Dumb Starbucks appearance is at 17:3218:08 in the background. season 2 episode 5 it’s on Hulu and hbo max for those who are curious
Awesome room, Matt! I'm currently working on mine. It's a home office/listening room/instrument playing room. Needless to say, space is tight. Looking forward to lots of new content for 2021! Stay safe!
Nice set up Matt. I love the artwork you have on the wall, and how you made extra space in the closet. I am going to have to check out those headphones. Bet it is nice being able to use those speakers as well.
I’m not a big collector of posters and prints. I’ll buy them if they’re available at shows but I don’t necessarily seek them out. But your wall looks amazing. That Pearl Jam poster is looking fresh in that red case and I’m hella jealous of that Trogdor print.
I love your mashup toys and poster wall. I tried to get a Tool poster last time they were in Houston, and they were instantly gone. Is it common for collectors to sit there before the merch table is open? The venue had just opened, and they were completely out.
Nice set! You could turn that whole closet into shelving and gain much space. I had Closet World do an install for a couple hundred $ & I love it. Curious to see those Mo-Fi LPs, too!
@@TooManyRecords great! You recommended them to me on the Facebook group, but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I live outside the U.S. and shipping is nearly half of the MSRP. I might just buy them anyway.
Hey Matt! I was wondering how many records do you keep in each individual cubby in the Kallax shelves? I have one for my records but I’m worried I squeeze too many into each cubby and I make sure to give my records breathing room but I was wondering if you had a set number for each cubby so it’s not a pain to take records out when you want to play them, thanks!
I don't know exactly how many, it depends on thickness. Roughly 50-70 per I'd say. I keep them so they are all upright but it isn't a super tight fit to pull one out.
great room! nice homage to some of the classic artists like Simon and Garfunkel. Was that first song you used in the also a Ziv Moran song like the last one is? I'll have to get into their music...I really like their sound. Just a suggestion....maybe in the video links list the music you are playing in case anyone (like me) is wondering.
Great music room, Matt! I just wish you'd done a pan around, so we could have taken it in as a whole. As it is, it's a little difficult to piece together where the different sections are in relation to each other.
Common records are hard to sell one at a time. You can do craigslist or you can do ebay. On ebay you can do bundle sales. In other words you list all the records that you have in the description area. Maybe take a general picture of like 20 of the laid out on the floor....and then have your ebay item listed as "pick any 5 for $13.99, 3 for $9.99 or something like that. Each sale you just easily delete the ones sold and relist the ebay auction.
awesome setup dude! must feel great to finally be able to listen to music as loud as you want. u ever thought about adding a couple scoustic panels and some bass traps? i did that in my room and noticed huge sound improvement.
@@TooManyRecords its pretty easy dude. u just stick a bass trap in each corner of the wall the speakers are. then u put an abosrbtion panel on each side of wall where ur first reflection is. after that ull get a bigger more focused soundstage
Looking pretty sweet :D just curious what happened to all your cassette tapes? I see you still have your walkman sport so I assume you still have them so where are they living these days?
Do you have a record cleaning machine? I think it's just about the only thing you're missing, you won't believe the sound improvement of cleaning your records properly if you've never done so.
There's a shocking lack of Dragon Ball in this room. Sincerely, a disappointed fella who met you once through a mutual friend in a small LA bar while wearing a Capsule Corp jacket.
Ha!! The bottom shelf of the glass case is all DBZ figures. I didn't show it because I was trying to make the video shorter, and it's not music related, but I'm glad you would have appreciated it! I also have a DBZ Frieza Saga screen print that I framed up but not in time for the video.
Some of the good ones from the last room tour are dispersed around the house! Gambino is in the hallway outside the kitchen and Yeezus is in my bedroom :)
Not really a listening room (sorry to be a troll) speaker placement acoustic treatment and various other components of sonic considerations to ensure the enjoyment of a music format should be in a listening room, otherwise it is a self indulgent crywank room, thanks for the vids though 🙂
You are ruining the sweater when you hang it on a shitty hanger like that... It makes me cringe to see a nice sweater like that get treated so badly. Nice room otherwise tho
Yo that was so dope! Also appreciate the shout out at the end as one of your top tier patrons ❤️ keep up the awesome content, my friend!!
Special, signature sound. 👀
Great job on the listening room!! I can tell that your stoked about it! Which is awesome. Keep spinning! Love the vlogs!
Oh yes... Can't wait

Looks great, a great space to enjoy the music. Love the artwork too. I agree, very important and nice to see on display!
Love the room! Glad u have a dedicated space now. My friend works at the 3D lab at his college, & printed me a now spinning sign
it’s really nice to see the room, it’s very obvious you’re very happy about it and showing it to us. i love it!

Awesome and inspiring! Enjoy in good health!
Killer room man! Storage is always a problem 🤣 my box sets are taking over as well. Take care
Yeah I'm already maxed out... again. I could probably re-work the closet to get more stuff in there. Always a challenge :)
Awesome music room! Congratulations! I’m happy you can turn it up now! Also thanks for letting us know about the headphones! Peace!
Awesome room, Matt! I'm currently working on mine. It's a home office/listening room/instrument playing room. Needless to say, space is tight. Looking forward to lots of new content for 2021! Stay safe!

Awesome set-up Matt! So glad you are all settled in to your new place - looking forward to new videos going forward! Northern New Jersey loves you :)
Always love for my northern NJ
Great stuff. Super cool to have a whole room for this all!
Nicely styled room. Well done. Lovin it!
That's pretty! I adore your designing. 😮
Idea for the velvet print. Frame it but keep the glass/plastic off of it. It works well.😉👍✨
Cool room amigo!😎👍✨
Awesome room! Looks amazing, that Kanye ksg hoodie is crazy
Nice product placement!
Dig all of the artwork.
It's a very expensive hobby to go along with my very expensive hobby ... oh boy. -_-
Gooooaaaalllssss...
Also- the dislikes are from The Office fans 13:00
LOL
Wow the room looks amazing Matt! Loving the prints on the wall!
That Roger Waters print was awesome I was lucky enough to see him before the pandemic hit and it was such a good show, really like the new setup!
Awesome listening room!
Love the tour of the room! One of these days I hope to buy a home where I can dedicate a room for my records and other music stuff.
Thank you for sharing your new space with us, Matt! Loved it!
Very nicely done! Hope to have a music room someday too.
Dope!!🙌
wow! you have a lot of vinyl! Great music room! :)
Amazing man!
Nice room, done a good job and used all the space well.👍
Spotted a Third man records box set, 👍
Noice. Happy 4 U dude.
Very nice, Gratz :)
Nice. Awesome room, Not sure why you would ever want to go outside. Just have food brought to you .
That's the goal
Yay!
Goals! Well done, man.
YES MATT! PARKS AND REC >>>
This is gonna be lit! 🔥
Nice! Based on what I've seen you unbox, I am surprised you won't need more space soon.
I already do LOL
Nice setup!
Trogdor the Burninator!
So what happened to the Fluance Signatures? I am seriously considering a pair of Reference XL8's for my home office/listening room.
They are a relic of my NYC days... passed them along.
I see that homecoming bootleg, would be fun to see a top 10 bootlegs video. Yeah? 😎
That's no bootleg, brother! That's the official 4LP that came out last year.
@@TooManyRecords whaaaaaaa!? Had no idea that was an official release!? But still, any bootlegs to show?
@@TooManyRecords knowing you’re about quality, wouldn’t be much surprised if you had many.
Now all you need is a lava lamp or two. No music room is complete without a dope lava lamp!
And Black Lights! That black velvet Ugly Mane poster looks right out of the 70s

If a well known artist (EMEK, Munk One, Klausen, Tsang, Sperry, etc.) has a print at a show, collectors will get there early to ensure they get one.
It looks like you could add another 3x3 Kalax in the closet to handle overflow.
Maybe not a 3x3, some of the side boxes would get cut off. I could probably do something though. Maybe a 1x4 on either side
Nice set! You could turn that whole closet into shelving and gain much space. I had Closet World do an install for a couple hundred $ & I love it.

How are you liking the Fluance speakers? I’m thinking about picking some up.
They're EXCELLENT -- especially for the price point.

Awesome mate, you gotta link your Discogs some day so we can droll over 😂 🖤
what is the best way of selling a collection of common records? selling the whole collection, in lots or on discogs individually?
Hard to sell common records individually. Honestly, craigslist might be your best bet.
@@TooManyRecords thanks!

Did you get that Banjo Skazooie record? Why do you think Banjo kazooie has 3 different records?
Mine is still en route -- but it's because Grant Kirkhope is a musical genius and I welcome every iteration of his wonderful music.

How many 12" records do you have?
12" as in singles? Not many.

What is that RAMMSTEIN box set?
I’ve never seen that before

Did you really pay full price for those headphones?? They are way pricey!
The room is cool but the hallway gives me hoarder vibes. You need clear egress.
I just can not do headphones, I have tried and tried.
