Randy Nguyen Thank you Randy.....What a nice thing to say, however I don't feel very inspirational........more like a grumpy old misery guts. The older I get the more puzzled I get with everything in the world and with humanity....Its the plant world that keep me sane, and more often than not plant lovers and gardeners are easy going, nice folk. Thank you for your comment........I will get around to answering everyone in time (winter)....even the negative ones...especially the negative ones! It will be my winter amusement. Take care and best wishes Randy.....I'm assuming thats short for Randolph as its a verb in this country!

Excellent video Malcolm ! I can't wait to watch your videos and they always end too soon. With all the videos on RUclips there is nothing that comes close to what you produce.. I watch for the knowledge you give us, but just as important I love to watch you rant and rave about things in general .. thanks for taking the time to make these videos I know its a lot of hard work for just a few minutes of content but you are a a true national treasure ! Thanks Again !

The LARCH... Lol - made me think of Monty Python...
Here in Missouri, we can only get Galanthus in bags via mail-order. I literally went to every local nursery a few years ago, and of the 6, only 1 person working in any of them even knew what a Galanthus was. We've planted 20 corms (10, 3 years ago, 10 last year, bought mail-order), and we have a grand total of 6 that bloomed this year, but with new ones coming up with them, so that is exciting! One day I will have a patch of them like yours...
And I would have done the same thing with the tall stumps. You might add some top netting and get the to form arches, that would be amazing, I think.
Keep up the great work and thanks for the videos.

Just found your series and am thoroughly enjoying them - was concerned things were going to take a nasty twist when you commented on how attractive that sheep was!!! But you came back on topic lol! Cheers from New Zealand

Wonderful just wonderful. Mind sharing your gardens history? I see its walled so it is probably very old and once part of huge estate. I really like your peek into summer and what your doing with the tree trunks. I have roses growing in my cherry tree - it's so pretty with its huge pink blossoms in May and then the rose blooming in June.
    Eagerly awaiting more,
    Scarlett

The cold weather reminds me of when I first worked in the nursery industry in the 80's. It was bitterly cold getting plants out for sale from under snow. I have my own nursery now and although we are wholesale there is a lot in your videos that is very familiar. I'm in west Wales now and we don't really get weather as grim as you. How's the business going now. It's a struggle here but this year sales increased by quite a bit and we are building more tunnels for an increase in next years production. I might even make a living one day.
