Hi there Malcolm , I really enjoy your videos . I have just discovered them on youtube , the two on Garlic trials was really interesting and where I live in N.Z its just been garlic planting season. I like your straight forward approach, but definitely a bit of humour thrown in , down here we like our Garden experts to be knowledgeable , gardeners, we don't care if they swear and insist they have a passion. I am slowly watching all of your videos and I have learnt new stuff already . Cheers mate
im not a big cricket fan, but I have really enjoyed the NZ team as of late. The series with England was fantastic and I was really impressed how both teams competed hard but respected each other, No sledging either . both Islands North and south are Beautiful, I hope you get to see them both
Monty Don, you are not, but I really do enjoy your style, Malcolm. If you ever do get to America, and Missouri in particular (we are smack-dab in the middle of the country), drop a line - you can visit our garden, tell us how we are doing it wrong, curse a bit (we have no profanity box here!) and maybe sit down to a good home cooked meal. Cheers!
Love your videos! Please keep them coming! My family runs a nursery in New Jersey USA and I absolutely love your videos. Think I've watched them all 20 times haha. I dont think anyone minds the swear words, gives you some character. Thought you had given up on posting videos but obviously you have not. Can't wait for the next one Malcolm!
What very kind comments Christopher. Thank you. it is my ambition to visit America before i'm to old or expired, yours is a country I am in awe of, particularly its vastness and the New England autumnal colour. The British isles are beautiful, they are home but they are so small and so crowded in places, our open areas that offer any kind of solitude are like oasis. You are very fortunate.....sometimes people are guilty of not appreciating what they have though, I know I am. For all our economic woes we do have good homelands and a good degree of freedom but i'm waffling now. I can't help the swear words, I do try but won't use a script of any sort......what comes out comes out....theres always too much to do and no time to piss about getting things just so, so it has to be raw. I will look up where New Jersey is. Its always interesting to know where people come from. i hope your family have had as much pleasure as i have in being nurserymen, given my life over I would do exactly the same again....might change one or two personal things!!! but not the work, its not really work if you love what you do, and i'm not smart enough to be a high flyer. The break in videos was some health issues Christopher so you might notice a little slurred speech....trust me, I'm not pissed or stoned! Thank you for taking the time to write. best wishes.....Malcolm
Great start to a new year! I love your story attend end very funny!
