Fun fact: there's a reason why Jugo is sternritter "B" and Bazz is sternritter "H". Their friendship goes deep that the letters seen by Yhwach in them during the ritual were the first letter of each other's names. This was confirmed by Kubo in one of the Q&As in Klub Outside

She has now officially been named Nikita Deathlok, which is just the most Tite Kubo sounding name I have ever heard and I love it. I'd love to see more of this character, but given the fact that the three other OGs like Hubert who were all in the source material showed up as charred corpses in Yamamoto's Bankai, I don't think her odds are too great at getting more screen time. Kubo and the animation team apparently love her though, even making official art of her specifically to go along with this weeks episode.
So glad I choose Bazz B as my favorite Sternritter at the beginning of TYBW. It sucks he had to witness his mom getting her head exploded right front of him, what a crazy backstory.

That's pure bullshit, my friend 🤣, it's like saying that if a character named Arthur is losing but magically a sword from the asshole of the world called Excalibur appears and saves his ass, it wouldn't be a deux ex machina, abandon the copium bro
@kannan07 It's not about ignorance, it's about reality. First, it's a world-wide series. They CANNOT do something that only the Japanese understand, and second, the argument is so stupidly far-fetched that I repeat the example I gave before with Arthur and Excalibur, to present some of this. magnitude is needed advance notice and clues which there is not
Nanao's Zanpakuto was not an ass pull. The foreshadowing was just based in Japanase lore Nanao's last name "Ise" is in reference to the real world Ise shrine in Japan (sacred treasure) which also holds an 8 sided mirror like Nanao's zanpakuto And like Nanao, the mythology behind it verbatim is that it was used against a sun god by using their own reflection against them Throw in Nanao's reaction to the Sogyoku in Soul Society arc and Senjumaru's bankai and you've got plenty of foreshadowing
this is from a Reddit Contrary to popular belief, Nanao's zanpakuto was actually planned by Kubo as her name Ise which is based on the real life Ise Shrine which houses the Yata no Kagami mirror that reflects light. Her zanpakuto was designed based on this and was not a plot device as many believed. But it was rather convenient that sword perfectly counters Lille's power. That too can be explained with the assumption that this zanpakuto might have been used on the soul king to split his body parts and organs to 8 different direction. Since, Lille also got his god like power from Yhwach who himself got it from the Soul King, this sword was able to reflect the power. The connection between Nanao's Zanpakutou and Yata no Kagami actually goes even further. Shinken Hakkyōken being used to defeat Lille, who had become a being of light, is a reference to Yata no Kagami being used to pacify Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun and daylight in Japanese myth.
I like how the word 'end' in the title 'Friend' was written in red, symbolizing blood and the death of Bazz-B, as well as the conclusion of their friendship.
The fact that: 1) Bleach has B (Haschwalt) and H (Bazz-B) on opposite ends, with A (Yhwach) in the middle. 2) Bazz-B has the schrift H while Hashbrown has the shcrift B (they're have the first letter of the other as their schrift) 3) Bazz- B's bday is 1 day earlier than Ichigo, Hashbrown's bday is 1 day earlier than Uryu. 4) Bazz-B has the surname Black, while Ichigo has also the surname Black (Kuro). 4) Bazz-B's final attack was called Burning Full Finger = BFF??? Not that reach because the title of the epiosde was fri-end.
I absolutely loved this ep. As a manga reader, i couldn't wait for this ep... this is just peak... Best backstory imo, absolutely amazing written, this is just on another level .. can't wait for the next one, this is just greatness at this point.
Another intresting thing is that jugoram didn't 'die' in senjumaru's bankai, he survived, and technically beat the flames that were trying to incinerate him And juguram did beat Bazz B
@@YukinoNnnS He's talking about Haschwalth schrift letter being B (The meaning was kinda revealed in cour 2 when Haschwalth killed two Quincys i forgot their name but the ones who fought Soi Fon and Toshiro/Matsumoto. and Bazzard Black(Bazz B) schrift letter being H for "The Heat"
So that's what shrifts are. Yhwach gives his powers to others, which their innate potential turns into a Shrift, and after they die, the shrift goes back to Yhwach, giving him more power. Its basically like a garden where he gives others the seeds, but needs them to grow the flowers for him.
Did you forget Hashwalth fought Tenjiro the hot springs guy in the royal palace? It was a quick fight but it happened. And his shrift is B the Balance.
Easily the best cour and perhaps the best shonen anime of 2024, studio pierrot are treating bleach with alot of care, kubo must be proud asf with the ability to add extra content, given the criticism he received when he was writing this arc years agos 😂
Man... what a depressing life bazz had. Family murdered, house burned down, betrayed by his only friend, nearly caught up in a 2nd genocide by the guy who killed his family in the first, betrayed and killed by his former friend
Oh yeah no the foreshadowing was right but in a psychological sense. The warrior jugram is dead when he killed bazz-b what’s left is a mourning soldier attempting to make everything seem like it’s fine. Hence why his hair covered his tear filled eyes and the phrase that once meant protection and comfort sound so mournful. Jugo is gone and now what’s left is a shell attempting to be jugram
After this episode, Micheal i am positive say you can now view the opening without any spoilers(if you haven't viewed it already). Crazy how it took us 12 episodes to get all the contents shown in the opening. But i would love to see your reaction to the opening cause i firmly believe this is one of the best openings of the year alongside Dandadan and Frieren.
Probably why Yhwach spared Bazz-B was because he saw Bazz-B bring along Haschwalth to him in the future. Haschwalth wouldnt go seek revenge on Yhwach on his own accord.
1:02 he didn’t need to have an asspull to kill an op character, he needed to create an op character to show us a tool that he planned since the first day we saw Shunsui and Nanao. Those hairpins and kimono, and the fact that Nanao had never wielded a zanpakuto had a reason and a backstory behind them, and that reason was her clan’s sword. I’m a manga reader and I’ve never thought of it as an asspull.
to be fair, jugo isn't a emotional guy but there was so much weight and emotion behind him shouting bazz's name and as well when he walks away after the fight he is heavily shaking and swinging sided to side walking slowly so definetly felt that, it also showed his face shadowed out which is usually i sign of emotion or regret plus the injury on his face left by bazz was shown to look like a bloody tear streaming down his face under his eye.You also gotta remember than the fight is more a catalyst and part of their story rather than a straight fightand that it may been a lot longer and closer if this happened before the aswaulhen(holy selection) at the end of core two since that was used to decimate and kill most remaining quincey and even sternritters down in the sereitei, with only the three of liltotto, giselle and bazz b surviving and amongst them bazz was hit head on with the full power of the light. anyways even though they survived they had now lost access to their volstandings as well as a lot of their power overall was stripped away and all that collective power was redistributed to yuhach but mainy the shutstaffle(elite sternritters) as well as the right and left hand men. so in the end bazz was a lot weaker than before and jugo was made even stronger making the gap seem stronger than it probably was previously. Take note and remember THE BUTTON bazz gave jugo since it's very important part of their friendship and that jugo still keeps and uses the sword he got from when they went through bazz's house.
To be fair, Michael, Senjumaru's Bankai does present a reference to each of its targets, but it's not all of foreshadows of what will outright kill them, but a deadly situation that they faced/will face. In Jugo's case, it may very well be the fact that he would face a great fire in his upcoming battle with Bazz-B, but also referencing the fire that burned his house down. Reminder that the looms that surrounded him were of forest trees (irrc), and they all caught on fire. In Uryu's case, there are theories floating around, but the loom of stars converging on the Quincy Emblem may be a reference to the Auswhalen that he alone survived when he was a kid.
Since senjimaru's bankai is anime only, my personal fan theory is that her bankai literally wove their fates, like it's the REASON they're dying that way, which would be so sick. And it would make her bankai still better than just failing to kill them.
Bazz-B keeps asking Jugram for a fight so he can finally accept that he's weaker than him but Jugram doesn't want to fight because he still treasures their friendship when they were younger🥲
5:40 Haschwalt’s schrift ability was explained in the fight with the royal guard but cant remember if it was named. But yeah, everyone knows it’s called the Balance. Also, we actually have seen Haschwalt fight before this, he had a brief fight with Kiriniji, the Squad Zero member with the weapon that creates light.
We saw Lille Barro appear "dead" in Senjumaru's bankai and that's why he got killed by Shinken Hakkyoken. Meanwhile Jugo was surrounded by flames, but we didn't really see him burn to death. Maybe i'm wrong, but that's why i think he didn't die to Bazz-B.
Some things to say: Haschwalth and Bazz-B' Schrifts are basically molded by their backhistory, Bazz saw his whole life burn to crisp and his Schrift it's literally using fire to fight, meanwhile Jugram wasn't really that affected (maybe even grateful) by the death of his uncle, "one's misfortune it's other's fortunes" and that's how his Schrift works, taking others fortune for himself leaving them with misfortune The ones who burn Bazz's house with Yhwach and announce the Stern Ritter unit are the same ones who were with him during Ichibei's meeting (maybe the predeccesors of his royal guards) and also the girl that shots the woman with Bazz (his mom maybe?) It's the same one who shots at Ichibei and she's an anime original character (i think his name was revealed but i don't remember what it is) The whole flashback happened before the Ichibei's meeting and the First War since Yhwach still has his Allmighty Jugram definitly felt killing his old friend even if he didn't show it, but he have already chosen his path and there's no return Also you don't pick the fact that Bazz says that while Yhwach sleeps his power is swap with Jugram, and if Jugram dies, Yhwach's powers dissapears, this could be importatnt in the future
Bazz-B and Haschwalth having each others' last initials as their schrift totally has that "Spongebob-Patrick-yellow-pink-undies" energy and I'm all for it.
If you look at 6:49 there's a light in Hashwalth's eyes If you look at 6:56 the light is completely gone Shows you just the type of home life he really has. Ywhach saved Hashwalth from his abusive uncle. So the fact that Bazz-B went around saying he was gonna kill the man who saved his life was something I don't think Hashwalth was ever behind to begin with. Cause Ywhach never did anything to him directly unlike what he did to Bazz-B
You can see how their pasts connect to their Schrift. Bazz B's whole world burned down, As Nodt feared death, uryu survived auswahlen which could connect to his ability, loyd and royd were twins mixed up at birth who unknowingly copied each other (their backstory was cut in the anime), and so much more. Plus some of their back stories havent been revealed
there is a pun in the ending song (no spoiler): as you may have noticed, after a certain episode they reversed the ending scene but in whichever order, Jugram's appearance is roughly at the same point.
7:57 Yes, this is the exact theory that i came up with, like a lot of people forget that almighty can see the future, so it is entirely possible that Yhwach orchestrated all of the events
say what you want man, but yhwach's horse he rode in on during the flashback scene, is strong af the spiritual pressure eminating from yhwach didn't even put his horse on the ground. what a good horsie.
Michael, just a reminder for next week since it's the finale it's going to be a double episode release, but unlike previous cours which has 13 eps, this cour has 14 episodes.
Not related to this episode but the one before but nanao since soul society had been shown not to possess a zanpakoto and literallt 100 chapters before the lille barro fight (cour 2) nanao explains she became a soul reapers using only kido and could perform a kido that ONLY she could use that she uses enemy spirtual pressure against them which is literally how her blade works ( did this to jugram whos probably the strongest stern ritter) and some people call this ass pull. I get it might be hard for some people to spot this but im surprised nobody in these comments are pointing this out.
Renji got clowned by some for losing against Uryu but no other could defeat their opponent alone 😂😂 (mayuri needed nemu and kenpachi's sacrifice, Kyoraku needed nanao...)
now we understand how stern ritter Y (Loyd )could stand against yamamoto all that time because yugram was there and he was sharing his power with him to make him buy time for the real yuha to come ( all this was plan of yuha ) amazing kubo !
Nanoe’s zanpakuto being able to reflect isn’t really an -sspull considering she demonstrated the reflection ability around 100 chapters before the lillie barro fight, bleach fans sometimes don’t pay attention to their own manga 😅

@kannan07 It's not about ignorance, it's about reality. First, it's a world-wide series. They CANNOT do something that only the Japanese understand, and second, the argument is so stupidly far-fetched that I repeat the example I gave before with Arthur and Excalibur, to present some of this. magnitude is needed advance notice and clues which there is not
Yhwach has the most powerful horse in the universe
Nanao's Zanpakuto was not an ass pull. The foreshadowing was just based in Japanase lore
Nanao's last name "Ise" is in reference to the real world Ise shrine in Japan (sacred treasure) which also holds an 8 sided mirror like Nanao's zanpakuto
And like Nanao, the mythology behind it verbatim is that it was used against a sun god by using their own reflection against them
Throw in Nanao's reaction to the Sogyoku in Soul Society arc and Senjumaru's bankai and you've got plenty of foreshadowing
NOTE THAT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE SEE THE OLD SPIRITUAL PRESSURE ANIMATION ON BAZZ B
this is from a Reddit
Contrary to popular belief, Nanao's zanpakuto was actually planned by Kubo as her name Ise which is based on the real life Ise Shrine which houses the Yata no Kagami mirror that reflects light.
The fire ki**ed Jugo uncle so in a way Yhwach relieved Jugo from his suffering that's one of the reasons he joined Yhwach
The fact that:
1) Bleach has B (Haschwalt) and H (Bazz-B) on opposite ends, with A (Yhwach) in the middle.
2) Bazz-B has the schrift H while Hashbrown has the shcrift B (they're have the first letter of the other as their schrift)
3) Bazz- B's bday is 1 day earlier than Ichigo, Hashbrown's bday is 1 day earlier than Uryu.
Never been sadder for a death in the show. Bazz B was an absolute bad ass and by far my favourite character. Rip burner finger!
Another intresting thing is that jugoram didn't 'die' in senjumaru's bankai, he survived, and technically beat the flames that were trying to incinerate him
And juguram did beat Bazz B
That was a really good Goku Black impression & loved seeing your reaction. This episode is PEAK Bleach 🔥😮💨
“BLEACH”
B - Bazz B and his friend Haschwalth “schrift B” (Still Spoiler)
H - Haschwalth and his friend Bazz B “schrift H” (The Heat)
the B is for Black, Bazzard's last name
@@YukinoNnnS He's talking about Haschwalth schrift letter being B
(The meaning was kinda revealed in cour 2 when Haschwalth killed two Quincys i forgot their name but the ones who fought Soi Fon and Toshiro/Matsumoto.
and Bazzard Black(Bazz B) schrift letter being H for "The Heat"
So that's what shrifts are. Yhwach gives his powers to others, which their innate potential turns into a Shrift, and after they die, the shrift goes back to Yhwach, giving him more power.
Its basically like a garden where he gives others the seeds, but needs them to grow the flowers for him.
10:10 that actually correct hubert voice actor is the same one as law
Law, Levi and Ego
And kid Haschwalt is Armin
this episode was so amazing, made me appreciate bazz b a ton more, this reminds me somewhat of ichigo and uryu's situation atm 😅
Did you forget Hashwalth fought Tenjiro the hot springs guy in the royal palace? It was a quick fight but it happened. And his shrift is B the Balance.
If you look at the sword of jugram you see a litle B engravet on it he never forgot his best friend
Easily the best cour and perhaps the best shonen anime of 2024, studio pierrot are treating bleach with alot of care, kubo must be proud asf with the ability to add extra content, given the criticism he received when he was writing this arc years agos 😂
All of that only to get absolutely no diff'd in legit under 20 seconds 😔
that was sorta the point tho😅
Bazz B is a really strong quincy since he survived the auswahlen but Jugo is one of the strongest characters in the entire series.
@@petersonofleo11l agree with you here his bucksotry so l hope his family rest in peçe 😢❤
Weakened Bazz-B vs Right-hand man of Yhwach, Coughing baby vs Hydrogen Bomb situation 😂😂
@@tarikizgua1835ıs amzing episode and şad one too but l agree with you here have nice day💕❤️
your "power" to remember all the anime characters names and quirks cant stop shocking me Bravo!
Man...
what a depressing life bazz had.
Family murdered, house burned down, betrayed by his only friend, nearly caught up in a 2nd genocide by the guy who killed his family in the first, betrayed and killed by his former friend
Don't forget, Jugo cut Tensa Zangetsu with a regular random blade
Jugram Haschwalth's schrift is "B" while Bazz-B's schrift is "H"
They haven't revealed the name yet in the anime. No need to spoil
@ I didn't reveal the name
@@matthewgilroy8701 jugram has been revealed to be sternritter B in the anime, but his schrift name has not been shown yet
@bepo1702 yes, that's what I said..
@@matthewgilroy8701 no one spoiled anything though?
Finally🔥🔥🔥🔥
This episode was refreshing honestly. Seeing bazz and jugo growing up in a place we never saw before
Crazy how Bazz-B’s shrift is H the first letter of Haschwalth and His shrift is B the first letter of Bazz’s name
Grandmaster was grandmastering on a different level!!!
Absolutey the best episode of this third core…i loved this vibes….like Sabo - Ace background
I suggest you to check Jugo's hilt again with attention.
1:50 not the bankai, rather dying to infinitely multiplying black sand
Nemu who's reishi infinitely multiplied, and kurotsuchi meaning black sand
We saw Lille Barro appear "dead" in Senjumaru's bankai and that's why he got killed by Shinken Hakkyoken. Meanwhile Jugo was surrounded by flames, but we didn't really see him burn to death. Maybe i'm wrong, but that's why i think he didn't die to Bazz-B.
And yeah, we did see him burn in the flames, but he was still standing. He didn't seem affected by them.
Some things to say:
Haschwalth and Bazz-B' Schrifts are basically molded by their backhistory, Bazz saw his whole life burn to crisp and his Schrift it's literally using fire to fight, meanwhile Jugram wasn't really that affected (maybe even grateful) by the death of his uncle, "one's misfortune it's other's fortunes" and that's how his Schrift works, taking others fortune for himself leaving them with misfortune
The ones who burn Bazz's house with Yhwach and announce the Stern Ritter unit are the same ones who were with him during Ichibei's meeting (maybe the predeccesors of his royal guards) and also the girl that shots the woman with Bazz (his mom maybe?) It's the same one who shots at Ichibei and she's an anime original character (i think his name was revealed but i don't remember what it is)
The whole flashback happened before the Ichibei's meeting and the First War since Yhwach still has his Allmighty
Jugram definitly felt killing his old friend even if he didn't show it, but he have already chosen his path and there's no return
Also you don't pick the fact that Bazz says that while Yhwach sleeps his power is swap with Jugram, and if Jugram dies, Yhwach's powers dissapears, this could be importatnt in the future
They've shown Jugo's power but haven't explained it yet in the anime. No need to spoil
13:56 yeah gotta be bazz b = bazzard black the b at the end stands for black 100%
Bazz-B and Haschwalth having each others' last initials as their schrift totally has that "Spongebob-Patrick-yellow-pink-undies" energy and I'm all for it.
If you look at 6:49 there's a light in Hashwalth's eyes
If you look at 6:56 the light is completely gone
Shows you just the type of home life he really has.
Masterpiece episode. The art, animation and music was so on point too
You can see how their pasts connect to their Schrift.
7:00 It sounds strange, really.
i'm not crying... you are... ;-;
there is a pun in the ending song (no spoiler): as you may have noticed, after a certain episode they reversed the ending scene but in whichever order, Jugram's appearance is roughly at the same point.
Senjuumaru's bankai didn't showed Jugo being killed by the flames only surrounded, while the others have shown to die specifically.
What we know so far is that jugram is the Stern Ritter "B" (in the introduction card).
I think it's cuz most international fans don't know about it even I didn't know about nanao's sword being planned before it's reveal until this year.
Michael: There’s no way Toshiro could take Gerald all by himself
Manga Readers: smiling right now
Took him on by himself until he couldn't lol.
Shouldn’t be smiling at all haha
Renji got clowned by some for losing against Uryu but no other could defeat their opponent alone 😂😂 (mayuri needed nemu and kenpachi's sacrifice, Kyoraku needed nanao...)
No one could take down Gerard Valkyrie.
Yhwach and the Elites are all monsters, but Gerard needed Kubo to personally write him off the story.
@@MrJamaigar LOL true but I'm pretty sure Kubo will do it differently in the anime and give him a proper death.
now we understand how stern ritter Y (Loyd )could stand against yamamoto all that time because yugram was there and he was sharing his power with him to make him buy time for the real yuha to come ( all this was plan of yuha ) amazing kubo !
"Burning Full Fingers" = BFF😢
This was an amazing episode even tho bazz got 3 taped his and jugrams backstories were bueatiful. Keep the heat going Michael🙏
Jugram nonchalantly cooking his bsf.
We still waiting for the blue lock episode❗️
Man the animation is insane 😮
15:15 made me laugh in a serious moment lol🤣
Nanoe’s zanpakuto being able to reflect isn’t really an -sspull considering she demonstrated the reflection ability around 100 chapters before the lillie barro fight, bleach fans sometimes don’t pay attention to their own manga 😅
