Thank you very much for this video. I live in Ecuador, South America. It is very difficult here to learn Russian since the universities or institutes dont teach Russian ( they offer english, french, italian, portuguese ) But i like the russian language and as your grand father said i like to read the famous russian writers. I think it is not that difficult, the main problem is the cases ( my mother tongue is spanish and we dont have cases ) when is sabaka🐶, sabaku, sabake, etc..🥴
I see Igor Nikolayevich as an honest man, he'll tell you the truth and probably don't waste time walking around the porridge. A good interview, which easily become an one-hour interview.
Thank you for the interview. I also studied math. I have a degree in mathematics with a minor in probabilities and statistics. Grandpa sounds like a gentleman who would be fun to sit and exchange stories with. It's too bad that they don't reward math teachers in Russia like they do in here in the U.S.A. . But here, if you are a professional athlete, movie star or politician you will make incredible amounts money and they don't build anything! God Bless.
Awesome. Youre so beautiful. Finally, I can understand chunks. It makes me feel dumb to learn a language. Does it get harder the older you get? I think our ears don't hear small differences as well.
Thank you, Johnny! I've had the pleasure of teaching students aged 75 and 82, and I firmly believe it's never too late to start learning a new language. The more you listen, read transcripts, and retell what you've learned, the easier it becomes to understand native speakers and engage in conversations. Language learning is a fun and rewarding journey-enjoy the process, and connect with fellow learners to support each other along the way. 😊
Really super friendly regards

What questions would you ask Igor Nikolayevych? ⬇️
